Reach was my favorite, the customization, the use of purchase currency, and your character appearing as how you customized him/her was absolutely amazing. Remember getting 90% of all the achievements before going onto other titles. Reach was the best in the series to my preference.

The grunt are one of the best aliens in halo. They may be the weakest of the covenant but there still okay and also despite how short they are ingame they are pretty tall when you find out how tall they all. Sure there still some what short of them being 5 foot are higher compared to people that are 6 foot but there still taller than some people. Also I read in a book talking about all of the lore before halo 5 and I found that there strong enough to RIP a person's arm off which just tells how dangerous they can be.

Even though they were basically canon fodder at least they were able to fight during the war because way before the covenant even founded humanity they were basically used as slaves because the covenant didn't want them to have weapons either because they feared they would use them to revolt or just because they didn't trust them, which led to the first grunt rebellion which was bad enough to have the prophet's call in the arbiter at the time to deal with them. And instead of him just killing the grunts responsible for the revolt he had the covenant glass there home world so they would give up. Even though it was cruel it was effective anof for them to surrender, but not without the arbiter to let them fight in the ranks of the covenant. Even though it just made there whole species expendable in war it at least made it to where they could fight to show they were more than canon fodder to the covenant, I mean they still were but not all of them died so easily. I just hope that they aren't being treated the same way as they were during their time in the covenant.

Fun fact: According to one of the developers master chief isn't the one in the cryopod at the end of the game, rather it's another spartan that was wounded and waiting medical treatment. I actually don't think Jun lives. In the game we don't see what happens, but in one of the books the main characters escort Dr Halsey out of Castle Base and to safety, while an unknown Spartan who matches Jun's description stays behind to cover their escape. Jun and Halsey were headed to Castle Base at the end of the game.

I always said halo 5 kinda sucked as a whole but the mechanics of the game were the one good thing. Highlighted weapons so you never accidentally pick up the wrong thing and lose sight of what you wanted. Realistic sighting, which is hilarious considering it is the least realistic shooter that doesn't let you stay in sights while being shot. Chair switch like you mentioned. The variation in the weapons, it was all good and fun. But they messed up the execution. If it were me, I would have kept loadouts the same as halo 4 but probably kept the special variations as part of the random loot drop with different variations being only available in different activities, same with heavy weapons and vehicles, not so much as only appear in those but rather have higher drop rates in req packs earned in those activities. ie bayonet in ranked and knight bayonet in mythic fierfight. The customization sucked. Sure they had lots of options but there was no real customizability. What I would have done was continue with the halo 4 set up of head body arms and legs. Instead of almost all armors being random I would have made base models tied to the spartan level and a few to achievements, then make their alt variations available in reqs as legendary drops but drop to rare/ultra rare drop rates after acquiring the base model, depending on level/difficulty of getting the base variant. Then a few visor colors be tied to levels then the rest in packs, and finally, fix the colors so they actually match the pallet. And boom, you'd fix one the biggest gripes of halo 5 multiplayer
