Last week my takedown lever on my P220 sheared into 2 peices and half dropped right out. Found this one at armory craft, watched the video, took 2 minutes to install. So far very happy, off to the range in an hour to test it out. Thanks for posting this. P.S at this time ( July 21, 2021) armory craft ONLY place that had this part available. Sold out on every other site I checked. Thanks Armory Craft!Without this part this gun is a paperweight .

The factory lever is a 1-piece MIM part. They put that bump on it to make it resemble the old style 2-piece part which was made with a piece of stamped sheet metal pinned to the barrel.

Thanks for the video! Now I'm seriously contemplating adding a Supermatch takedown lever to my X-five Allround. Armory Craft is out of the picture as it's a) not ipsc production division legal and b) ordering parts from the US is a major pain. But I can get a Sig Sauer made lever from Germany easily. Only negative is the 120€ price tag.

The American company called Brownells has European affiliates that may help you get parts. It's all because of I.T.A.R. laws. Just search on the web for Brownells. I know there are outlets in Germany, Austria, UK, Italy, and Spain.

@@whomagoose6897 Thanks, I've used Brownells in the past but Sig p226 parts are pretty limited in supply so I usually end up ordering from Germany. I did end up getting a Sig takedown lever, despite the price.

I just DIY'd mine from the original takedown lever, using the Loctite 480, Silicon Carbide, and baking soda mod. How does it affect the fit in your holsters? I'm considering getting one. Great video!

can you compare it to the new Armory Craft Sport take down lever for the P226? It is about $30 cheaper.

I don't have either one yet but the Sport lever looks better to me. More of an angled ledge to get purchase on with your thumb. The cheaper price is nice too.

The sport lever isn't checkered and is smaller in size, hence the price difference.

That take down lever looks huge, even on your P226. Does the lever have any bite to it? Or is it just a plain checkered pattern with a smooth surface?

goforbroke2 the lever is bigger for a purpose. It’s not as big as it looks in the video. The camera adds 10lbs 😊 Its just the right size to place your thumb on. Checkered pattern.

Sig Sauer Guy Man, I don’t know about that it looks huge. Was going to grab one when they come back in stock, but I feel like it will look out of place on my P228.

goforbroke2 these are on top of the line x5/x6 pistols that come out of Germany. Fairly certain the design is spot on. Once you’ve used one you won’t be disappointed. I understand It’s not for everything though.

What about it? No it's not going to fit your standard holsters. But guess what, most guys running custom take downs etc, are having holsters made. Get ahold of tuxton tactical and he will make whatever you want as long as he has the exacting dimensions ..

I have a P226 X-Five Allround and the lever does not fit finalky. It is a littlebit thicker than original lever ☹️
