Great choice for an armory deck! I still feel that they're a bit overpriced for being a new player product and the the deck content though, I hope this at least has a sideboard this time.

A sideboard is a godawful idea to include in a product like this. 1. a new player will have no idea what to do with it. Sideboarding requires knowledge of the meta and other heroes, which you cannot expect from a beginner. 2. Sideboards are constantly changing due to meta, local tendencies, bans, etc., so the cards you get might end up being completely useless. 3. Products like this are usually planned at least a year in advance, and even LSS can't predict which cards might be needed in a sideboard. How then can they be expected to put anything coherent together in a deck like this?

The helmet alone is worth 40 USD, while it also includes Fast n Furious, some spark of genius(assuming from the trailer). Even if I have a built DIO, I would still buy this just for the helmet and 3 FnF alone

@@rgbcgroup One counterargument to be made is that there are certain mechanics in Flesh and Blood that require some kind of response pretty much at all times. The primary example would be that most decks will need some kind of solution to arcane damage, which only one of the Armory Decks thusfar contain (Hidden Agenda's AB1, in the Azalea deck). Even something similar to what was done with their new 1st Strike decks, also for beginners, would be an option here: include a few cards that prevent arcane damage (arcane barrier, spellvoid, etc.) to swap out with more physically defensive pieces of equipment. For a Mechanologist hero like Dash I/O, this could be resolved by including 1x each of Achilles Accelerator and Viziertronic Model i. I feel like the experience of needing to learn some basic equipment sideboarding is probably worth the trouble compared to a new player having the experience of playing against a Wizard or Runeblade hero and dying from damage that appears to be completely unpreventable at first glance of the cards in front of them, and this is going to become increasingly more common with the release of new arcane heroes in Rosetta. I agree that sideboard cards that are used simply because they are meta picks (e.g. The Weakest Link into a Mystic-heavy meta, Snag into Nuu, etc.) would not be the best fit here, and that including sideboard deck-cards in general would require more educational materials in the box than LSS currently includes. The arcane damage question is the one thing that trips me up though on the way to agreeing with you.

I am curious about the new head equipment "Heavy Industry Surveillance". It can block for 2 if you banish a mech card, but it has a temper. Will it be destroyed at the end of the turn with the neg 1 counter? Or can you use it one more time to block 1 if you banish another mech card later in the game?

You can still use it, cause temper checks at the end of the chain link. The +1 lasts till the end of the turn

Its sad that now the Armory Deck content was revealed, it doesnt have Spark of Genius in it. Was really hoping it would be in it but Im just shooting for the stars I guess

A lot of the new cards in this are gonna be pretty damn good for Maxx (like the new helmet and attack shown on the product sheet so far). And sadly maxx just can't compete much without nitro mechanoid, so he'll need more support than an armory deck to get back on his motorbike and forsake the mech suit.

I feel like they could include at least one copy of at least one 10$ and up staples to help out the players, like they had one copy of Red in the Ledger only in the Azalea deck.

They mentioned at the Rosetta release that they'll introduce a new adult hero in an armory deck in 2024, and there is one more armory deck this year. I also really got my hopes up on Terra armory deck!
