Captain Skyhawk - Modelling, Painting & Gaming

Күн бұрын

In the final video in this three part series I tackle painting the armoured walker in a scheme inspired by the look of the original Star Wars Jawa Sandcrawler with it's brown, weathered appearance. Although using a number of paints and enamels the process is kept really simple with the colour mainly being applied with a sponge to create lots of nice colour variations and textured tones. The enamel washes at the end bring it all together and help create that rough, weathered and varied finish.
Hopefully there will be some useful techniques shown in the video that others can use in their own model painting tasks.

Thanks very much, it was interesting to see how it started to form as I stuck bits together. Originally it was going to be two-legged but sort of got out of hand!

@@cynicalmamc thanks for that, wasn’t sure if it should have had a more colourful paint scheme (other than this weathered, drab brown rust) but I’m overall happy with the effect. Good to complete it none the less!
