I'm a potato strategist but I think this rulebook doesn't come too complicated for me to play as an average General (and even win some games😅😁) Can't wait to have my rulebook copy!

The changes to how the card deck functions are very interesting, and using that as a morale mechanic is inspired. It'll be interesting how it functions on the tabletop. Can't say I'm a fan of more custom dice, especially with duplicate symbols, but you've made it work so far. What I'm most curious about is how recon/scouting and movement generally plays into things. You seem to have put in a good amount of more mobile elements (Cavalry, Bikes), will they just be fast objective grabbers and flankers or will there be a bit more to it? Also quite curious who all will be getting hover vehicles. Khepris for Sultanate would be a dream.

As a future Crown Player, i had a few questions. 1. Will there just be one profile per unit, or is it possible there will be elite or alternate versions of units? My great grandfather was a Coldstreamer so itd be neat to be able to pay a few more points to uograde a unit of Crown riflemen to Coldstream Guard or other historical or original units to add some granularity to listbuilding. 2. How many standard bearers will be on the sprues? (Gotta have one for the regimental Colours and one for the King/Queens Colours.) 3. Will there be many choices of Commanders? So far it seems like its two per faction across all the launch boxes if im not mistaken.

Great insight into the design goals and intentions for Armored Clash. Two Questions after watching the video: 1. You mentioned that the Combined Arms aspect was important for you to capture in the game--specifically having Armored Clash be a game of both infantry and tanks. Will we eventually see air units added to that mix as well? 2. The Battle for Singapore box was mentioned for using a campaign of linked scenarios to teach players the game. Are there any further Campaign/Narrative supplements planned for Armored Clash?

Hello! 1) Yep, rules for aircraft are in the core rulebook! They're a fully planned feature of the game. 2) Let's just say we've got plans! 😁

Suitable for "a Gamer's first Game" seems a very strange assertion in a game with non standard dice and multi-purpose cards. For a "Gamer's first Game", I would suggest a game using standard dice and without any supplementary cards, particularly multi-purpose cards. I am reminded of the old sayings "Keep it Simple S...." and "Just because you can do something, does not mean that you should".

A 1 always misses so is blank on their dice to remind you, the 6 is instead the game icon as on many dice, 4 and 5 always hit, you can reroll 3s, if not weakened, and a 2 can only be rerolled, if improved. You can use normal dice with numbers on them and if you look at dystopian wars, they even give the info in the rules. You don't need the actual value of a roll ever, just the number of successes. That is why these dice are with symbols, even though the game mechanic is basically just roll 4+ and with the level of combat rating you get reroll 3s and 2s. So the different symbols are just easier to read than the numbers on standard dice, but you can just use standard dice, even though it may make it more complicated for new players. For old players it looks simpler with numbers, because that is what they are used to.

So this is what Lost World Exodus should've been? Change the wild west rules for a military based game, drop it right after the 3.0 is released, and then come out with a whole new scale game a few years later. Is this atlwast finally going go give us the Roosevelt velociraptor rough rider cavalry unit for the Union?

LWX is a 35mm skirmish game with about a dozen models a side. This is a 10mm massed battle game. LWX is coming, it's just that Covid and a few other factors gave the a Studio a shuffle of the development schedule. I'm keen for dino cavalry too. Just need time.
