Frightning to realise that the time between this film being made and me joining 9 sqn at Honington (43 years) is almost the same as me joining the sqn and seeing this film (40 years). God I feel old.

A lot of work for the armourers. As far as assembling and loading bombs goes, nothing much had really changed 40-odd years later when I was doing it as a young plumber in the RAF, although the bombs were a bit lighter! Didn't do any "plumbing" on turret hydraulics either as Tornados didn't have them 😉
