@oceantrolls73 The video is misleading, that is not an "SV8100" phone, the SV8100 is the PBX. There are a range of IP and Digital phones, the SV8100 can support a mix of them. DECT and Wifi are completely separate technologies.

2 questions 1) I'm wondering how to change the name of an instruction menu. I'd like to change the name of the 'Special' instruction menu to 'Lunch.' 2) I'm wondering how to program one of the keys, so it can set the appropriate instruction menu (open, closed, etc.) Right now, several of our phones have one of the keys called 'system mode' and clicking it lists the instruction menus to select from. I need to program other phones to do the same and cannot figure out how to program that key.

+Scott McCallum Yes you can. You need to go the patch panel and change the patch cable from the old outlet (desk) and plug it into your new outlet number (desk).

I am using the DT700 series and I want to be able to answer my secretaries phone when it is ringing and she is busy. I am looking for help. The manual says to hit the button flashing green next to their name, but it just calls that extension.

Simple create a virtual extension for your cell phone, then we go into 24-06-01 do the fixed call FWD / Busy No Answer. Then we go to 24-07-01 on the ASPIRE S, M, XL UX5000. 24-07-01 is where we look up the virtual extension and assign it to your cell phone number.

+EOSHM Obaid The flashing light on your handset would be a Message Wait (MW) or a Call Back (Clbk). With the handset in the cradle you can clear them by the procedure below thanks. Clearing a Message Wait § Press Exit key (below display on left) § On Clear Menu screen, press MW softkey § On Clear Message screen, press ALL softkey A message light can be activated by calling an extension and hitting the MW softkey. You can hit the MW softkey to call back the extension. If you want to clear all messages and turn off your message light, follow the instructions below. Clearing a Call Back § Press Exit key (below display on left) § On Clear Menu screen, press Clbk softkey § On Clear Message screen, press ALL softkey When an extension user calls a co-worker that does not answer or is busy, they can leave a Callback request for a return call. The user does not have to repeatedly call the unanswered extension back, hoping to find it idle.
