Brian's grip is a weapon. Holding people outside of the straps, and putting them in uncomfortable hand positions, will give him an advantage.

@@ktos25armwrestlers don't train their grip strength, it's not very necessary (but some exceptions exist). Just look on Devon's grip. 70 kg or sth like that? Or Levans, for about 80-90 kg when he was in Larry's gym. But still top 1.

@AdamLighter1 Devon lost to Brzenk a few years ago when Brzenk prevented him from slipping, Vitaly kills his opponents by not allowing them to slip, ask how painful it is to Ermes, Dave and Revaz (which he broke his finger by holding him hard), this is Vitaly strategy and works wonders for him and Brian has a stronger grip than Vitaly, so I think Brian can learn both ways, to hold and to let go depending on the opponent and situations ....

Give Brian 6 weeks training with Neil and he'll look like a "natural" just like Eddie did. Neil is the best coach. He transformed the way Eddie moves at the table in 6 weeks, he can do the same with Brian. 3 days with Devon is just going to confuse any new armwrestler, he sucks at teaching new armwrestlers, always has and he even admits it. Meanwhile Neil's coaching videos with Eddie were amazing.

I actually thought the Devon videos might be trolling because they were so bad, but nope Devon is just that bad at teaching noobies. Meanwhile Neil is genius at it. He transformed Eddie in 6 weeks, he can do the same to Brian. I don't think there was really a difference in Eddie being a "natural" and Brian not. Maybe he needs to have a few training sessions with some guys that actually use their grip in matches. Getting that partial slip and absolutely crushing the other guys fingers on the way down to the pad would likely be a really good move for Brian, as we saw a little bit in the match with Eddy. I think there is a big difference in “holding on” when your opponent is out on your fingertips, and holding on to your opponent’s fingers.

Until's beaten someone like Dave Chaffee we have no idea what his timetable will be to try and face Levan. Because from Dave he'd need to face someone like Alex and then from Alex he could face someone who is actually top 4-5 if he kept winning. From there is Levan but that's a long road unless we are just in a hurry to have him face Levan to sell ppv's.

Brian was great it was hos first ever super match on main stage. Everyone, talking shit on him and Devon because one of the strongest men ever gave him a little trouble. Lol what a joke. They both stick with it they will both be great.

Why does no one mention that Eddie has been a lifelong arm wrestling fan who’s had matches before. Not professionally. But he’s not new

They need to stop telling Brian to only focus on arm wrestling!....That's exactly why Devon can't and will never beat Levan! Devon doesn't have enough bicep or enough muscle mass. Levan told Brian basically to stop strongman training and that's exactly what Levan does and why he is so dominant! Brian right now just needs keepi his strength up and basic arm wrestling training . Brian is like power pitcher and can develop a couple go to moves but mostly over power everyone! I want to see Eddie do it as well and forget about Larry Wheels he's not interested anymore we need to keep Leonidas going! Brian vs Leonidas could be cool . They totally threw Leonidas under the Bus, he's still learning and they give him matches against the 2 best wrestlers out there!

@@spencerthu2956 Levan is a seasoned arm wrestler though he can incorporate those strength training methods, Shaw is at least 3 years away from where he needs to be if he’s actually going to arm wrestle top guys anyone who’s says otherwise is just trying to be nice . Devon would be correct , he needs to focus just on arm wrestling strength training ,lifts that in involves arm wrestling/ static / resistance training big time ,hauling heavy weight won’t help him that’s why the best arm wrestlers just focus on holding , pulling and locking weights in different positions, strong man training only goes so far .

eddie would've undoubtedly destroy brian with at least a month more of prep, this match carried KOTT13 so bad, every other match was boring as hell, 4-0's or at best 4-2's.

Neil is a better coach than Devon. That was clear in this match. Devon is an amazing armwrestler. But being good at something doesn't mean you are good at teaching others to do it. Brian needs to train with Neil for a bit.

I’m a huge Devon fan, but he’s terrible at teaching. He over complicates things and overloads with information. Neil did a great job with Eddie which I expected. I’d love to see Brian get help from Neil now and once he gains a few years experience then listen to all the more advanced knowledge Devon can provide.
