Nothing but class...... I watched 3 different attempts by Army defenders to punch the ball out of the hands of ND players standing in the end zone after scoring a TD, WELL AFTER the play was over. Clear sign of disrespect and frustration. It got to the point the whole bar was looking for it to happen after I pointed out the first one. Go Navy, beat Army.

Life-long ND fan since 1964 (when I was 6 years old)....30-year retired Amy Vet (and while not a West Pointer, I did serve there at the Academy for 3 wonderful years).....I mentioned to a friend who asked me Saturday night about ND's uniforms. Said I wasn't a fan....preferred their traditional Blue & Gold....and NO NAMES on their jersey backs. Then I said "you know, like Army....with their TEAM name on their back" (of course Army did have their last names in small print on the front of their jerseys. :-) Coach Monken is what's RIGHT about College Football (my first love of ALL sports)....he's the embodiment of leadership (what West Point/USMA is all about), toughness, teaching and Class. Looking for that Brave Ol' Army Team to rebound next week, take the AAC and BEAT NAVY!!!

There's Football, then there's Academics, then there's the combination of both, then there's the Military Academy requirements plus Football and Academics. No other university can compete with USMA, Annapolis or USAF Academy (Colorado). None. Most other students would crack.
