@@ToddTheGunGuy no issues, I come from a Chrysler family, traded a new 2020 Ram rebel in on this and best thing I ever did! It’s been an awesome truck, no problems, I got 15,000 miles on it now, I drive a lot, other car is 2001 Toyota Camry (beater) I have used the truck to pull a trailer with a side by side on it, no problems. This past winter the truck was amazing, we got a few good storms in Indiana and it’s 4x4 and tires did great. I’ve used it to haul stuff, got a deer last season and no problems, love all the tie downs, your right tho a mat is 1st thing u need. I average 20-23 on highway when driving under 70 mph. And if 70+ it goes down to around 19ish. But all and all great all around truck.

I'm a full on Toyota fan boy lol. So needless to say from me, congrats on the new purchase! VVT (also VVT-I) is Toyota's variable valve timing systems. Helps adjust your valve speed at different altitudes to maximize your fuel efficiency and power, awesome technology. So I'm on my 5th yota now and was raised a yota guy by my Pop's who currently has a Taco as well. Just change that oil regularly and she'll last ya forever. Currently at 220k on my 05 4Runner and she still runs like a champ. Congrats once again Todd, I absolutely love it!

@@ToddTheGunGuy the offroad has softer suspension. I drive a semi, did a million miles in 9 years with a 10 speed. Driving alot is a lazy man's excuse to get a crappy auto. Your money, enjoy your new truck. Man 40k? Prices went through the roof, I paid 33.5 for my 2020

Etc pwr button is extra power button, it’s like over drive changes shift points of transmission and revs higher and little faster. Lots of cool videos out there that show tips and how shit works. Best thing I did was changes light bulbs to LEDs sulvania led bulbs at store $100 a pair (they say only fog lights but work in both) makes huge difference. I bought $$$$$ money LEDs but they had issues these are best bang for the buck. Hope that helps. I paid 2 times so figured I’d try to share info. Love that color.

I have the same truck but an Off Road! My first upgrade was the 4 speakers and tweeters for a better sound when listening to music. Huge difference than stock! I suggest upgrading the speakers!

I put a deposit on a similar truck last weekend. It doesn’t even exist yet. All I have is the VIN. It will be built in 4 weeks with delivery in 8 weeks. Hopefully. Popular trim levels of the Tacoma are being bought sight unseen and are sold long before they reach the dealership at least in my town. The dealer lot was empty except for a couple of corollas and an old lady Prius.
