i was stationed out there in the aviation detachment while they had Hueys. i dont remember seeing this. shit you could salvage some of those parts. some of the links look good, the engine oil tank, the 42 degree gear box would be good for a museum restoration. i wish i could bring that to my school. would love a huey to restore for my students

Probably arrived just when you were leaving. My friend ran the summer training and had it flown in to be a training aid.

@@RCASSIN i was there from 2003 to 2005, i am sure my eyes were just focused in the air for traffic. But would have been a cool land nav exercise. Not that my old ass pilots enjoyed doing that kind of stuff.
