they did great but when they reported out and dropped the rifle it was over, but they still got first place, i had a competition recently where 2 teams dropped the rifles and they got 1st and 2nd place but my team did everything perfectly and we didnt even place. I am a cadet from uniondale high school knights battlion.

its points off for ropping and points off for not saluting. they do it at all major and serious drill meets. like state and nationals and some small ones too
@hockeyplaya215014 жыл бұрын

One unit, one sound. Simple outstanding. I did armed exhibition in 2003-2005 in vilseck Germany. U guys would have given us a run for the money lol

At my JROTC we call these types of routines "happy slammers" and for unarmed when they slap too much we call "happy slappy's"

Want to be in this JROTC program at francis Lewis hs but getting to the Bronx to utopia must be confusing
@CranesV28 жыл бұрын
If yall are ever in the Warner Robins, Georgia area, my team needs some training from yall's commander. My team has 5 returning cadets and 6 new cadets. The new cadets can't even perform a proper 2 handed continuous spin.

@maggiefacee I don't remember the exact packet, T.T But it's in there, I'm pretty sure our team went through a whole kablooey trying to distinguish the topic at hand. I know what edition our school uses (;

@JihadForJesus12 The majority of the students that attend Francis Lewis HS are Asians, which can conclude that the majority of the students in the JROTC program are going to be Asian. That is not to say that there are no non-Asians in the program/team, but it's just the way it ended up. In the past, there were many more non-Asian cadets on PG.

Man there's a lot going on in this drill. No time for recovery if fatigued. 1999 black watch would be a perfect example of down time in the drill.
@Ccarcamo71313 жыл бұрын
@Seiijin Its exhibition drill, their is no regulation in exhibition.
@xanto1614 жыл бұрын
@Mistawong94 I am pretty sure it was at brigades '09, cause I was there.
@Ccarcamo71313 жыл бұрын
@Seiijin and that rule dosent qualify for all drill meets. Each drill meet has its own SOP and safety regulations.

in exhibition you don't have time to simply salute the rifle before picking it up. if you make a mistake you need to hurry your ass up and get back in the routine as fast as possible. they count points off for the mistake but they don't for dropping the rifle.
@ZapReviewproductions11 жыл бұрын
They are from Norwich
@ericolmeda44387 жыл бұрын
are those bainets on the top of the rifle
@readable00137 жыл бұрын
no, it is illegal for them to put a knife on the rifles cause someone might get cut (I'm in jrotc, that's how I know)
@ericolmeda44387 жыл бұрын
I'm am as well thts y I wanted to know
@BunnyRulerxD12 жыл бұрын
@maggiefacee That was back then. Nowadays, saluting is a symbol of respect to someone of a higher rank or status than you are. It's in the LET packets. XD
@cannisterkid14 жыл бұрын
@Mistawong94 Oh shi -- -Facepalms- Crap, didn't notice that. The routine looks pretty much the same, and it's the right commander, though o_o
@gagefontenot416411 жыл бұрын
give been to state nationals and I've seen countless videos from the Daytona Nationals and I've seen many mistakes and I've never seen one person salute their rifle if they dropped it. now either every single one of them forgot this rule or what, but it seems to me this rule you speak of does not exist
@Seiijin13 жыл бұрын
Oh, and that rear rank at 7:50 is an illegal when being tossed over a cadets head.
@gagefontenot416411 жыл бұрын
don't for not saluting the rifle* my fault.
@Ccarcamo71314 жыл бұрын
i liked it, but xanto, their not silent drill team so take that off the description
@richardharris67812 жыл бұрын
the last toss was bad and he didnt salute b4 he picked it up and continued thats points off that alone would be put them at no higher than second
