When I was a kid, the magnifying glass death scene had me running out the room, then the interrogation scene put me off the game. Eventually I overcame all that trauma and faced up to all this and completed the game. I was actually immune to the zombie death scene but my brother hid underneath the computer's desk waiting for me to give the all-clear lol! I truly love the game.

I used to play this game on a Windows 95 pc and I always ended up dying around the one where there was (I believe) a stealth section with an alarm system. And the zombie and monkey scenes scared the crap outta me. But I was like probably 6, 7, or 8 at the time. E for everyone? BS, DUDE! !!!

The stealth section was level 11 "Fortress" where you try to destroy a truck carrying a nuke of sorts. The stealth section is optional but recommended however

You know, the golf ball nuke kinda makes sense if you think about it. Production atom bombs and the primaries of thermonuclear bombs are the spherical implosion type. If you had a strong enough spring, especially as toy Army Men, you'd have a better delivery system than the Atomic Annie of the Grable test.

In any of the Army Men games there are some kind of references to toys that died, actually, it refers that he died by a shot, explosion, or any hazardous situation like melting with a magnifying glass, normally that is refered that the character died

If you think about it, just about all of these loss scenes are kind of fucked up. The zombie one scared the crap out of me, the scream of the melting soldier and seeing him reduced to a puddle was creepy, the grave was eerie, needle one, and the forced suicide bomb showing his hopeless struggle to live. Loved it, but all of those gave me bad dreams lol.

+MrLegislater That's eactly what was going on. Dr. Madd in himself is a trope of 19th/20th century 'mad science'. Horror culture of the day had a lot of 'brain transfer' imagery, where they would typically take a man, and put his brain in another animal, most commonly an ape or a dog or something of the sort. Though, in hindsight, giving Sarge's brain to the BODY of a great ape would cause a lot more trouble for the Tan army
