Great videos on the Army men series so far! Being this is my favorite game series it’s refreshing to find a genuine review that isn’t just trashing on these games for no reason

Thanks for the sub and for checking out my videos! I'm a MASSIVE fan of the series - I have every game including the PAL-only PS2 versions of Sarge's War and Major Malfunction even though my PS2 can't play them. I always try to be fair and as objective as I can be in my reviews while also making sure to say "Hey, this game may not be great, but I have a ton of fun with it and love it to bits." A game doesn't have to be "good" from an objective point of view to be a fun, entertaining good time; likewise, I've played plenty of games that are mechanically "good" but just...didn't interest me. Army Men is always brushed aside because critics bashed it - not always unfairly - and never saw the charm beneath the jank.

Unfortunately for my back, yes. A lot of folks have started calling the DS, PSP, Wii, PS3, and 360 retro as well, much to my dismay.

for the green cartridge what is the different

There isn't one. They just switched to grey cartridges for later prints as a cost cutting technique, so the green cartridges were the first print run. IIRC - don't quote me on this - the grey ones are actually rarer because fewer were made despite most people (myself included) preferring the green cartridges.

@@elkinfencer10 You're welcome. I've been enjoying this retrospective on the army men games. I played so many of these titles when I was a kid as the local video rental stores had almost all the the army men console games.

@@elkinfencer10 I am very much looking forward to them. My introduction to the franchise was sarge's heroes on the dreamcast and shortly afterwards I ended up with army men 1 and 2 on the pc and air attack 1 and 2 on the ps1.
