Two stunning armies again, Fantastic cast. Really appreciate the explanation of the more complicated interactions for us noobs. :) The heroic march/move will be a game changer now I know how to use it properly lol

Good I'm glad. It really is a rule not really that well known.

Cheers mate. Yeah the heroic march thing is a game changer, once you get your head round it it has some very fun uses the key one being things like return of the king LL being able to hide aragorn better on the advance across the board

Great game! Glad to finally see an Erebor army using the new models! I ran an Erebor/Dale list at a 650pt tournament recently using Brand and Dain as Hostorical Allies, went 1 win to 2 losses but really liked the feel of the army. Hope the new book drops soon.

Cheers mate. We also filmed a game with them back when they first came out Vs some easterlings which is here kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3iahJ6qjt2bgLc They seem like fun, not sold on dain yet tbh but thorin is really cool. Will have to see what the legions bring

Great BR you two! Those two Marches were brilliant and critical at the beginning of the match. They stalled the Dwarves just enough to keep them from threatening Lake Town's supplies. LT is absurdly overpowered, especially if you bring in allies. I had to play against a guy in a tournament last summer in Nashville that had a Lake Town / Erebor Reclaimed / White Council alliance. It was ridiculous. He had the Master of LT, Alfred, Braga, Galadriel LoL and the Champions of Erebor in an IH Chariot. He had around 30 Warriors of LT. It was an 895 point tournament. I believe that Chariot had 10 Might alone. Thankfully I had The Balrog, a Cave Drake, Groblog, a Blackshield Shaman and a metric ton of fearless Goblins. I beat him, but he obliterated a ton of other armies with that crazy list. I'm so glad they made it much more difficult to bring Galadriel LoL in as an ally for a lot of armies, but they really, *really* need to nerf LT. That guy had a nearly limitless amount of Might.

cheers mate, really appreciate it. Yeah lake town are a bit bonkers really, especially for an army that sees so little screen time. Part of me genuinely thinks they've realised how silly braga is and are too scared to release the model. I took them to the event we were practicing for here and went 3-1 coming undone on heirlooms against an angmar list which eventually went on to win the event. Their ability to shut down my auras and terror to stop me charging was pretty brutal. There will be a follow up video as normal but I started with 8 might every game but used at least 15 in all 4 of my games. It's a little bit silly.

@@AtomicCards anytime. Love the battle reports you guys do. I agree about Braga. His profile is bananas, especially in that list. Having access to that much Might is incredibly difficult to counter. Angmar is probably one of the few armies naturally built to be it, just because of their ability to shut down heroics and really stall troop movement. Thankfully, Laketown doesn't really have anything fearless, unless they ally in IH with Dain. I beat the army I spoke of earlier by breaking the IH chariot with my Cave Drake and the Balrog. I believe he put five wounds on the Drake and another six on the Balrog, bc he had so much Might to keep striking up. I managed to break him and kill three of the four dwarf heroes in 2 combats after I got them out of the chariot. I don't believe he lost the chariot another time in that tournament.

Did u guys forget the master of lake-town's dragon-sickness special rule or did i just miss it? Great battle report btw!

for reference: At the start of the game, your enemy may select one of their Heroes to be the bearer of a large sum of gold. If the Master of Lake-town is ever in base contact with the bearer at the end of a Move phase, he must pass a Courage test or be removed as if he had just lost his last Wound.

I think we just forgot in this video tbf. This was a long time ago when Tom was first trying out AoLT

That’s an insane number of models and resources at 550 - honestly don’t know how the dwarves can hope to beat Laketown! I’ll root for the stubbies as they are clearly the under dogs :)

Yeah lake town do feel quite silly at the lower points. So many models, so much usable might, it's madness
