U.S. Army soldiers from the 173rd Brigade Combat (Airborne) Team, out of Vicenza, Italy, participated in a jump training exercise in Hungary. The training consisted of pre-jump procedures, mission briefs and a static line jump out of a Heavy Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III. The jump was lead by the brigade's Unit Ministry Team. Mine was too, had a silver star, a bronze star, and 6 purple hearts, His name was Mad Dog Mantooth, he got from how fierce he was on the battlefield, the reason he was so fierce was because he saw his brother die on D-Day. God bless!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Purest= I will not argue with you who is the best. I saw that most fight amongst you guys who are Tabs or Scrolls. I was just a regular Airborne Infantryman. You Ranger School graduates are above me. I have seen fist fights between Tabs and Scroll guys and don't want any argument with any of those guys other than break them apart. But I would be risking my ass getting kicked if both turned on me back then. That is you between you folks business and I let it be. Bottom line is our battalion Chaplin was this crazy dude with serious fire in his eyes was a triple canopy guy and was a former SF NCO. When sometimes I went to his services at church he would give sermons that would scare the shit out of me. He was even a Jump Master on the plane I was on and he knew his shit. He was fucking dead on during the Panama Invasion of 1989-90 and followed every company in combat. This dude was no "Cherry" by all means. Like I said this Chaplin was in our battalion. You guys could beef about it all you like.

@@deroivano4431 Because I was one of those who jumped off of these airplanes. No matter how many times I did it, I never liked it. Having a fear of heights and motion sickness is no fun when you are a paratrooper. Still, I did the jumps.
