This surprised was prepared by Bighit and army during the break before their encore. This surprise was very touching cause BTS just sold wembley stadium a very historic stadium in uk and all the uk army there singing a Korean song to them and young forever at that. Young forever is very emotional song. You guys should react to the lyrics to really understand why BTS was crying. Jimin was crying a lot cause in early 2018 he said he watched army sing young forever on KZbin and it helped him feel better and he felt that this was the reason his an artist. Also This was a very pleasant surprise for them cause imagine coming from Korea and you are holding a concert in wembley stadium which only the likes of Queen and Michael Jackson are about to sell out, the fact that you sold out was already historic ( I am not joking they literally had a press conference before the concert cause they are the first asian artist to have a solo concert there)but you got all this English speakers singing your song in Korean for you showing that music really transcend languages. It was a very iconic and historic moment. I get goosebumps every time I watch this vid. I hope this gave a bit of context :)))

Just to add a little info, it was originally an idea from the french armys, but BigHit heard the idea and decided to organize it at London instead of Paris because Wembley is more famous and they thought it would be more symbolic Even though we, French ARMYs, couldn't do it, I'm still happy the idea got to be realised Properly💜💜

This was actually a COMPLETE suprise for the boys. The staff snuck the song into their setlist without telling the boys. This song means a lot to them. So to hear 90,000 ppl at Wembly Stadium in the UK, a majority english speaking country, sing this korean song that means a lot to them really brought them to tears :'). Btw, the person translating was a translator who was backstage, not namjoon. The translations were a bit off but it got the message across i think. When he was translating jimin, i think he meant to say that the song helped jimin through a really rough patch in his life. I dont think he meant to say 'rehab' but more like 'getting better' i think

7:28 I think the translator said "when it was really hard" :) Jimin has mentioned before that Young Forever has helped him overcome his personal struggles and that this song means a lot to him. He also got "Young Forever" tattooed on his arms this year ("YOUNG" on one and "FOREVER" on the other arm).

Not rehab lol, It helped Jimin when times were really hard for them, for him. He also has it tattooed on his arms above his elbows, and Nevermind on his rib, as in "Nevermind it's not easy but engraved in your chest, if you feel like you're going to crash, then accelerate more..." That you are young and you will make many mistakes, but you will overcome all of your hardships. Those two songs mean so much to him, so to hear Army sing it to them just did it in for him.

To add to what you are trying to say jimin has a lot of insecurities with his appearance, weight and performance on stage and always wanted to look his best and felt he was not enough. Jimin is a hard worker and was very hard on his self that he went on a strict were he lost a lot of weight. He would also get very down when he made mistakes on stage. As the love yourself series started jimin also started to love himself and jimin a lot more comfortable in his own skin and appreciates himself more. Jimin said young forever really helped him achieve that. Idk if all this made sense lol

The miss understanding was a word at the end of what the translator said, that wasn’t clearly spoken, almost like a mumble. In their ears it sounded like rehab, but it wasn’t. I have watched this video, (not this reaction, but the actual video), many times, and I was never able to figure out what the translator said, so I just was like, “oh well”🤷🏽‍♀️. But the response from them, was just what they thought they heard. Side note, these young men reacting, are from a different country, so they still have trouble with the English language and certain words. So they get a little leeway,(pass), for something they don’t understand or hear properly. I can tell they enjoy BTS, and are fans of them, they mean them no harm.

you have no idea but they have helped so many of us day by day... not understanding korean but knowing their song lyrics is enough. A lot of grown adults like me are a Huge fan of them. They keep us grounded and most importantly they make us a better peeple in this world. They may not know us personally but they have shown us Love and kindess have no boundaries..Im 29, im from canada i have cousins n friends who are amys. I flew to UK and witnessed this amazing moment. Even i was suprised i cried while singing this to them like tears just woulnt stop , We all felt it. It is crazy how we are all so attached to them just from listening to their songs and watching them. If this ddnt touch your heart and ddnt bring tears in your eyes. then you have no idea what real happiness is... BTS made me a better person and inspired to be better and do only good things. Awww😭 What a special moment for BTS to sell out Wembley Stadium and to have Young Forever, not on the set lost, to be sung to them! Namjoon is not translating though. Jimin had personal struggles, no rehab✋🏾. He was insecure with himself. Even ARMY was sad and constantly concerned for him because he went to the extreme . Hes a sweet but sensitive guy. He learned to love himself and is more confident and is the one to make the other members laugh. Young Forever helped him heal. This song is special to all of them. The lyrics are deep.

I cry everytime I see this... especially knowing so much about them as people... you know this meant everything to them. Jungkook was sobbing. More Queues in Day 2 than Day 1, if there was Day 3, BTS would surely sold it out again in an hour only bts are the FIRST ASIAN act to sold out wembley with a 90k+ capacity which was: -ticket info was released mins before ticketing starts -sold out in 90 mins - Legendary stadium every artist dream of not even some big western artists sold out Wembley 😭

It’s not the song they’re supposed to perform which is why they aren’t moving and looked so confused at first. Army and staff planned this so when they went into their last song... army would do this first. People learned the actual Korean words to sing to them even though this concert was in London I believe, so many English speakers is what I mean.
