Lombardi addressed this in his autobiography. Army (West Point) has so much to work on throughout the week that those who play football only do so as part of the game. Football comes second to duty, honor & country. Both teams are well known for using variations of triple option offenses. Years ago it was the Spread T formation with one halfback motioning to the slot, today it's a wing back motioning in to tailback. 3 yards and a cloud of dust!
