You know what's really weird? About 5 days ago, I thought to myself "Man, I miss those old, green, plastic army men from when I was a kid." and am not ashamed to say that I was thinking about ordering a bag and then just setting them up on my shelves and whatnot (and probably play with them for a few minutes first). Now, your video pops up for NO reason. I think that's a sign that this man in his thirties should get some. Lmao. That is an awesome set you have as well! Subscribed. Oh, and one more thing. I recently found a PS1 emulator and the first thing I did was find and download all of the Army Men series PS1 games. I was in heaven that night! LOL

I’ll say this, they got the issuance of sidearms correct. US GI’s typically didn’t get a sidearm unless they were in a position where they couldn’t really carry a rifle. The M-1 carbine was often issued in lieu of a pistol. It was really popular with Non commissioned officers and airborne infantry. Though most vehicle crews carried pistols as did machine gun crews. On the German side, sidearms were usually carried by just about anyone but the basic infantrymen. However both sides frequently used captured pistols

Nice review. I ordered that Battle of Bulge set and just got the Saipan Pacific Theater set. The new figure and vehicles appear to be based in the Classic Toy Soldier sets that BMC must have acquired the molds. They look great. I can add this Bulge set to BMC’s D-Day set and add the Saipan set to the BMC’s Iwo Jima set to make both sets even larger. Battle sets like the old Marx toy soldier sets are great fun.
