I think you are the first KZbinr I find that talks about the different classes of highlighters. Most people just say they are either natural or blinding (which isn't very helpful). I'm personally trying to go for the glossy/glowy type of highlighters, since I want to look naturally glowing and your videos cover the different formulas really well!

Pearl is my HG but we definitely agree on the JCat Bella Rose! I have, and love, the Burberry one but, as you said, it's more of a warm white which isn't always the best on me. I'm as fair as you but have a stronger pink undertone so cool white looks better than warm.

I've also wondered if you liked the bare minerals invisible highlighter since you love the bronzer so much. I don’t know why but I find your videos so calming and settling. It’s like my mediation part of the day :) Have you tried the Essence highlighter? I like a very very subtle highlight and heard this one is supposed to be good for that. Also do you prefer a real techniques setting brush or a fan brush for highlighter application?

I personally fell in love with Becca LIQUID shimmering skin perfector. I get sooooo many compliments on it and it is sooooo glowy and natural. I have shade pearl and I'm quite pale. It's 62$ for 50ml at Sephora but I so so so love it.

Great declutter; I absolutely agree with you about the ones you did keep and the ones you decluttered. I have the Stila highlighter in Kitten (actually got rid of my first one and then bought it again...didn't want to give up on it). Anyway maybe you could try mixing it in with your foundation or laying it down first and then putting a powder highlighter on top of it over your foundation. God bless

I got the Technic highlighter after seeing your favourites video but wasn’t a fan. However after trying that I got the small Becca highlight in Vanilla Quartz that you recommended and it is absolutely gorgeous! The perfect colour for pale skin, and such a gorgeous formula. I’ve bought a few highlighters but had never found one I loved until that one (and I think the small version is enough for people who are not heavy make up users) x

I picked up the Natasha Denona superglow with a Sephora gift card an it's such an interesting formula. It's almost completely invisible until the light hits it and then it beams, I've never seen anything quite like it. I love double gleam but even that's not quite so invisible on my skin.

I have this little natasha denona blush&glow duo and I really like the formula but I was a little underwhelmed because my expectations were too high. When I just tried it without comparing it to others I really enjoyed it

Always extremely interested in all your highlighter videos because I'm almost as fair as you and I liked the same highlighters you did in 2018 and earlier (ie no glitter). I just wish the lighting was such that we could see the color, texture or shimmer of your swatches or that you would have listed the highlighters and shades you were keeping. I'll look back through your videos to see if I can find the ones you're keeping. Hope you are enjoying time off after your dissertation defense! :) For me, I was already working on another large experiment so the day after my defense, it was just another day at work. I'm lucky I enjoy my field (changes in the brain and physiology due to chronic stress).

I bought Natasha Denona Superglow in the Sephora VIB Rouge sale, and it is gorgeous! It looks like glass on the skin, wet glass. I hope my description made some sense. Lol. It’s so smooth on the skin, too! The shade in Fair is stunning! Take care, my lovely! Xx

I love the ciate dewy stix. My technique is to put it on my finger then dab it on my cheekbones and it doesn't disrupt my foundation at all applied that way. I'm using it both because I love it and to try and convince myself that I don't need the Chanel 😅

I have both lightscapade and double gleam, bought them on your recommendation, and honestly don’t think I need any more highlighters in my life - these are perfect for my oily textured skin. BUT I’m also thinking about this chanel stick - does it emphasize texture? It’s funny how easy it is to make good highlighter but at the same time, it’s the little details that can make or break a product to a person. Have a nice day 🌷

The highlighter I'm addicted to right now is the Wet N' Wild Megaglo Highlighting Bar in the shade Air it's almost a dupe for the Too Faced Blinded by the Light but with the tiniest hint of peach in it. They have 4 shade but Earth is kinda too gold and Fire is too dark and of course Water is like a bright blue shade. I don't have Lit but I'm thinking it's may be more like that but for a $3.50 highlighter it's so worth the price.

I am as pale as you and I have the baked gelato highlighter in charming pink which I think you might like better. Formula is lovely and while the color does lean pink, it’s far more natural than diamond dust. Edit: Actually it might be a bit too pink for you. Very pretty though.

@Arna Alayneyes indeed! If you want to try a really "extra" highlighter, I recommend the Maybelline Masterchrome in Diamond Glow, it's really blinding! I'm a smidge darker that you, and all the other ones in that range, while lovely, are too dark for me! I think in the US, it was marketed as a collab with Nikki Tutorials, but there's no mention of Nikki here in Canada. I'm not sure if it's available in Australia, but if you can get it, it's awesome! 💎💎💎

Love love love my Burberry, I buff it all over my entire cheek and temples before I use my BB , bronzer, blush and then another highlight. If gives a beautiful healthy, glow to the face....

The Stila one is definitely an interesting product. I remember a year or so ago I got my makeup done at Mecca for a beauty loop reward thing and the girl used it but it was before that shade was out and she used the next shade down (which was too dark in my opinion ahah). I still liked the sheen it gave but I did leave thinking you did so well on the foundation (used hourglass)... why did you pick that colour highlighter 😂😂

And what would you say is the difference between the RMS Living Luminizer and the Chanel stick highlighter? I have the RMS, but that Chanel highlighter looks very enticing...

They’re similar on the skin but I prefer the Chanel formula as it’s a little thinner (although still love the RMS). I don’t think you need both 😘

I have the Stila highlighter and i want to like it but i havent really figured out how to apply it. I feel like i cant pick up the product with a brush, basically the only way i can get it to work is if i apply it with my fingers which i know isnt ideal at all. I usually just avoid using it to be honest. Also i agree with you about wet n wild and becca highlighters. Im just not a fan of them. They arent horrible but there are better ones on the market for the same or similar price range in my opinion.

Also quick tip! Apply High Beam to a small, sterile palette of some sort first and then apply with a sponge/brush/finger :) No need to use the brush that's with the product👍🏽 I'm not a fan of it either lol!

It seems to be a very polarizing highlighter! I love the shade, but couldn't figure out how to apply it in a way that I liked on my skin. I do, however, love the Super Shock highlighter in Double Down

I lightly “set” flexitarian after I put it on. It’s a bit too intense of a highlighter for me, but after I set it, it doesn’t look as stark on my skin. I didn’t notice any glitter falling out
