I got it, in relation to the transitive and intransitive verbs. They both (the transitive and passive voice) need an object because in the passive voice the action falls into the object, am I right? I love you and I love your videos. 🥰

@@sharuk98ala other languages might say, you are the one to whom I talk. You can also say this in English but it's quite formal and old fashioned..modern English switches the preposition to the end of the sentence. I live in Spain and in Spanish we cannot end the sentence in a preposition either.

Her first example to explain why we use the passive structure was amazing. It's the sort of example that show how media outlets can change the essence of an act or happening. I personal think it is so important to be critic in the life, includind when we are learning other langue. Hence I really loved her example!!

I work in a language program here in Australia with students from various countries, many of them being refugees. There's an error @4:11 - It should be "A million pounds was donated", not "were donated". Specific values of money/currency are an exception when it comes to verb agreement, and are always treated as singular. You can use the plural verb if the amount is vague/non-specific, such as "Millions of pounds were donated".

the main reason I like your videos is that you have a great ability to present a hard topic in simple terms for example this video you just used one rule which is "be + past participle" and this is very simple and easy to use But all these years I have been learning voice from books where they used lots of rule that is why i could not able to understand this topic. thank you for your videos.God bless you .

Your video is very well done. I would add the following: Passive Voice occurs when the active sentence contains a TRANSITIVE VERBS, these verbs admit OBJECTS. Ex: I gave alms to the beggar. While in sentences with INTRANSITIVE VERBS you cannot put the sentence into passive voice. Example: Birds fly.
