Arnis Rising Solo Baston/Stick Form #1 and Step Exercises plus Base Kata Pinan Nidan.

I have developed this form in order to help my students grasp the fundamental combative movements and it draws its inspirating from my first discipline in Martial Arts beginning in 1990 Wado Ryu Karate and its first fundamental Kata Pinan Nidan.
I have adapted my training in Arnis which has been passed onto me by Guro Edward Dockrill of MET-FMA HFS and I can say this form has been a few years in development as I figured things out for myself, and then one day it all clicked when I saw my former Sensei's students doing Kata Pinan Nidan with 2 handed sword, that was all I needed to unlock what I was wanting to achieve by blending my two loves in the martial arts world together in a way that speaks to me.
This form teaches the novice student fundamental combative movement, disarms, common counter attacks and restraints, environmental awareness and the deeper one looks, the more a trained eye will see.
It also gives the students a small taste in my love of Karate.
I do not lay any claim to any of these movements or the base form this was built upon.
However, the delivery of this set of movements in this form is unique to me and is an official Arnis Rising Filipino Martial Arts form that is unique to the system I share.
My deepest respects go to all the Masters and Grandmasters who came before, who laid the foundations of the path that I have chosen to walk.
