Its kind of a paradox but the point remains: Sarah Connors "badassery" is actually the product of 2 strong males. She was literally just a teeny weenie waitress before any of it happened.

You can blame it on the plot, not the actors. Also they shouldn't have killed John Connor but instead Arnold could have whipped Edward Furlong back into shape and he could have come back. It's just a shame what they did to it. Linda and Arnold are always amazing though. Love them.

The plot wasnt that bad if you understand christian gnosticism. The T800 represents the demiurge (ignorance) Sarah,Grace and Dani represent the 3 different identities of Achamoth (the goddess Sophia,shes Mary /Memory/wisdom) , and John Conner is Jesus . Though the public treat the film like the elders did Suzanna from the book of Daniel .
