Working class like politicians who blame others for their own problems. So both far-right and far-left are very appealing to working class, far-right blaming other poors, far-left blaming rich. This explains strong appeal of Pr. Trump who is a true working class president on the right. Upper middle class rarely blame others for any issues, who represent the center of politics. Upper class never blame others for any issue since they have control of their own life. Instead, Upper class plays politics to their advantages by manipulating working class from both right and left.

Best short thing I have rad on this 30 year Republican effort to squash voting "If they can't win on votes, they'll drop the idea of votes. If they can't win in a democracy, they'll drop the idea of democracy" Their actions prove---as many conversations with self-identified "Conservatives" and so called "Libertarians" have shown---that they have contempt for the very idea of representative democracy... By their own logic, they would have been Tories and lining up to drop their breeches for King George III back in the 1770s.. Or would have voted for Herr Schicelgruber in 1933...
@towlie9113 жыл бұрын
Not everywhere in the US is the same. Voting took me no more than 5 minutes either in California. The problem here isn’t really physically voting, it’s getting factual information about what and who you’re actually voting for since many laws that are proposed are misleading when you read the summary they provide you. It takes me several hours to dig through the details of each law and candidate to see who is funding which laws and candidates. Big corporations can spend hundreds of millions of dollars on misleading advertisements and misrepresent what a law is actually going to change. For me that’s the real issue, that corporations can effectively legally lie to you in order to persuade you to vote.
@Krescentwolf3 жыл бұрын
@@towlie911 Yep... each state votes in its own way. Some states tend to make it easier to vote. Where I live, in Washington state... EVERYONE has been voting by mail-in ballots for years. Sadly this means that states controlled by folks who DON'T believe voting should be easy have tons of tools to make the voting process as hard as possible.

Not gonna lie, I'm more left than center. I believe after decades of far right policies that have brought us to where we are as a country that have produced the recent and growing income wealth gaps, crumbling infrastructures, rampant legal bribery of elected officials, and overall decline of the average American standard of living (not to mention health care shenanigans). Just moving back to the center of politics won't be enough "course correct" for the country. With that said, Arnold's speech has just put an even bigger spotlight on the ineptness of the elected representatives whose job (paid for and granted by the American people) has been so poorly done. Over the last couple of decades, most of if not all representatives have done better than (on average ) their constitutes in terms of finances, wage vs inflation, and overall well being. A politian's success should be measured by the success / well being of the people and area they represent. When they no longer can relate, it is no wonder that they're ok with all these dumb political stunts that accomplish nothing while Americans suffer. As a quick example, during the pandemic, they still were paid, weren't furloughed or laid off, and got instant care if they contacted covid. All while telling the average working American to take 1200 dollars and stay home . Having the audacity to argue about doing more, saying if people get too much help then they'll get lazy and won't want to work during a global pandemic! Or saying they understand peoples frustrations showing off designer ice cream while their constituents wait in food lines. They have been in office too long, term limits now And replace with real people.

@@greygrey4479 No, it isn't ridiculous at all. Under #diaperdon, it has become reality. Trump tries to get legal ballots thrown out, and to strip voting rights from millions of Americans. @@mikem9001 - Sorry Mike , but your statements are ass backwards. The Trump legal team is exposing "illegal" ballots and corrupted voting machines. THAT is what disenfranchises American voters. Trump merely exposed state officials that have illegally violated their own states election laws. The GOP wants the "politics as usual" that made them all rich and are secretly working against him, (i.e. William Barr) . Mr. Trump is the only one in D.C. that wants to give the power of the government back to you and I. For the record, I don't belong to either party, because corruption runs deep in both. Whatever the rules are it should be federal and not state by state. Australia has different rules for state elections but federal elections are carried out by the federal government with one rule for all. Republicans are wrong that enfranchisement of more people counts against them. Depending on the issue Australia could be considered to the right or left of the US . The US under Trump actually lurched to the left on trade and industry policy and although I don't think it's a personal belief to the right on social and religious issues. To me he seems to have no real belief system, just populism and what he thought would get most votes.

These "judges" and "made it very clear they'll protect and go along with the democrats' treason as democrats commit felonies even in front of over a thousand witnesses, even as they kick out legal poll watchers and cover up the all windows while they "count" 96%+ batches for Biden, even as they get caught on video pulling out suitcases from under tables after telling everyone to go home, full of hundreds of thousands of forged ballots 96%+ for Biden, even as they are even caught scanning them more than once, even as they are caught electronically lower votes for Trump over election night all over the country in chunks of thousands, over 5 MILLION total, all on numerous live televised broadcasts that show it happening in real time, even as they use dominion machines that are used by dictators to electronically change votes to fool people into thinking they lost a "fair" election, even as those machines connect to the internet. If we do not charge these criminal judges/justices with obstruction of justice and being complicit in this treason then the democrats can do whatever they want and steal every election as their "justices" and "judges" just dismiss the cases to cover for them again.

@@philippedefague3835 people are fairly equal in West Virginia. A man recently got arrested for threatening the Governor the case was dismissed. The Governor was embarrassed.

No...everyone is NOT equal. Under the law, they should be. However, in what they acquire...no. If you can earn it, you get it. If you can't, you don't. I own you nothing of my earnings just because I had more gumption/ability than you. Grow up.

"...my bodybuilding success, my movie roles, my investments, my governorship, my family - would have been impossible anywhere but America." It will be impossible now that Trump is ruining America. He gave a nice well-deserved blow to Republicans. Schwarzenegger is a good guy. Yay, Centrists!!

When Arnold was applying for his US citizenship he applied the same focus and determination utilized in his bodybuilding to learning as much as he could about US history (going far beyond passing the citizenship test). That's the truth, that's where his insight comes from.
