A bit of advice please. Hi. I am totally new to paper making. Well I did go on a day class about 20 years ago. I have purchased the Papermill Kit and I want to make the gift tag and envelope from the Trash to Treasure book. I have copied the pattern from the book but I am not sure how thick the shaped deckle should be. Is there a minimum thickness? I don't want to use card as that will get wet and soggy, I don't want to have to tape it all up so I am using a magnetic sheet but that is only about 1mm thick. I can use two as they stick together but I don't want to if I don't need to so how thick/thin do you think I might 'get away with'? Please.
