Must've rented this game 9 or 10 times from Blockbuster before my mom finally bought it for me. Played the everliving hell out of it, too. Genesis version was so much better than SNES version, too.

RaikaSTi because the SNES version suffers from awful slowdown issues. Genesis version doesn’t and plays faster/better overall to boot.

This game really feels the most like a "Genesis game" out of all the WWF games from this era, too. The "RAW" theme, plus the darker (than SNES) colors here...this is probably "the one" from the 16-bit era, even though I hate the inclusion of the mega moves.

Just checked out this video for nostalgia reasons... Really strikes me how many of these wrestlers on this game have passed on since this game was released. Still have a few of them still kicking at least, for better or for worse.

This is the best version of WWF Raw. The Super NES version removed the ability to punch, kick and dropkick your opponents when they're in the corners, and plus this version is a lot faster (without having to intentionally make them fast by changing their stats like in the Super NES version).

I wanna get this game for my genesis... besides the lesser graphics and sound quality, i heard this version is faster and has more moves than the SNES (you can attack in the corner)... which is fine for me. One thing thou, I heard this sucks with the default 3 button controller...Does this works with the 6 button gamepad?

It works best with turbo controllers, you will get the upper hand from the clinch much smoother and faster, than regular controllers.

Lex Luger is a good way to soft lock the game in some of the modes especially if you used his special move and then did a sleeper hold. They don't recover from the sleeper hold and if they had to leave the whole ring battle area to get some other character then you are soft locked.

Really? I didn't get the manual since i got it from a shop that was selling it without a manual i think. But i still managed to do all megamoves on my broken controller by simply holding ab and pressing all kinds of dirrection until i did a megamove. Ormaybe i didn0t understand english back then enough.
