So the name is pronounced Dee UH fide, meaning worshipped. Tonni basically made heavy metal "heavy", because of how he played. He lost the tips of his fingers in an accident and with his homemade prosthetics had to learn to play without being able to feel the strings. The result was that heavier sound that Black Sabbath (another tie to the deified name of the perfume) is known for. There is your little bit of useless information for the day.

Just got my bottle yesterday. It’s truly unique and remarkable. I have Monkey Special and feel that owning both isn’t redundant like other fragrances and their flankers. Great video, man!

I picked up Deified the other day. Had to and its been the most anticipated fragrance of the year for me. Love the original Iommi and this new flanker is just as good

@@VMClassic it's nothing like the iommi monkey special which is also a good thing. Deified is spicy and fresh with a beautiful smooth leather base. One first spray you will get the swet tart apple and the saffron instantly blast that is simple irresistible. The spices slowly start to come out such as the cinnamon and the strong helps make sure the sweetness doesn't take over giving balance with its smoky vibe. You will not be disappointed. Many prefer monkey special but I like them both equally. For me it's joint as the best releases of 2024 along with Widian x Harrods London exclusive, Maison Crivelli's Cuir Infrarouge and PdM Perseus

Thanks to your review, I blind bought this from Xerjoff on Sunday 5/26 and received it today Tuesday 5/28. That's some fast shipping! This review is on point. I smell the cinnamon a lot. This one smells so good to me. I think I like this one more then monkey special (I also have). Thank you so much Neeb!!!

Great review. I bought a 5ml of this and then ordered a full bottle Saturday. I own the original and must say this is every bit as good if not better. The apple, cinnamon, suede combo is outstanding. Where Monkey’s main player is patchouli, Deified relies on a trio of main notes, suede leather being the star. Masterfully blended and super high quality ingredients. 9.5/10 for me.

Great breakdown of the frag. One thing thoough, naturals tend to fade faster. You said that it can give better longevity and performance.

Yes thats why i said “can.” Not always, and for most light/citrus thats generally the case but shelf life of naturals will always be longer than synthetics. Synthetics especially with fresher notes actually do us a favor in increasing longevity in the actual fragrances. I couldve been more descriptive and saying the notes im reffering to since it does vary. In my experience specifically (Oud, cardamom, opoponax, resins, etc..)

Also, bruh….Laathani from Ahmed Al Maghribi 🔥🔥🔥. Basically God of Fire with that mango, lemon, ginger opening and that same leather, incense drydown from Ignite Oud. Absolutely insane. Better than Marj and Ignite Oud and performs as good or better than both. Definitely check it out when you can.

I had a genuine sample of the previous Tony Iommy, and despite of its unqestionable quality, I found it almost painfully sweet. From your review, with the green apple and rose, I suspect that they tuned this sweetness down to a degree. Is it right? Thank you.

i dont understand people who base a fragrances off the opening ... the heart notes and base notes are the important notes ... for instance amouage reflection man opens up as one big mess too many peoples noses but as it dries down and settles its perfection.
