Great job in capturing the forgotten beauty of the land! ✌ I say forgotten beauty because, for all everybody that's been there or lives there knows the city's dirty as heck and is nowhere near aesthetically pleasing as this, standing down there. My friend manages a hostel here in Kohima and so he hosts tourists daily. None of them have ever passed warm, complimenting comments on Dimapur. It's the first place in Nagaland, visiting tourists see after they land in the state. I'm sure they're as disappointed as we are with the sorry conditions of the city. I just hope the citizens, municipal/town management or every stationed institutional set-up there would do their bit it maintaining a clean environment and incorporating healthy waste management systems.

Easily the best air view of Dimapur on KZbin. Dimapur actually receives very little credit from denizens and visitors alike. For all the dirt and muck one finds on ground in the CBD, Dimapur really has a lot of greenery especially in the residential and suburban areas. People, be it the administration or the citizens, have become very conscious and, against all odds, have regularly started doing their bit toward a cleaner and healthier Dimapur. Something that’s missing in other places, especially capital Kohima. It can only go up from here. Dimapur deserves much more. I so wish there are more street-lights, so that the night view is also bright. Congrats for the video. Next time, make an extensive vid (slower and more continuous) covering the entire Dimapur plains, right upto Nichugard and Patkai. Your transitions could be smoother. Do this vid when the four-lane project is completed. Besides, if you could also indicate landmarks and locations in the vid it’ll be so helpful. 👍

I am so embarassed to even have friends and guest over. When they expresses interest in visiting Nagaland I strongly discourage them to do so. The buildings are dilapidated, the roads are still stuck in village era. The irony is people are so wealthy and educated it's an insult to the current state the town is in.

Nagaland government not focusing on basic infrastructure like roads... Road lights... I visited nagaland 3 times... I am from rajasthan... And believe me road conditions are too good even every village had road lights even one village with 15-16 homes had 5-6 road lights.... In recent time new roads in all over rajasthan from city to village... Hope nagaland government will also focus on roads... Specially in village areas... At last nagaland is beauty.. Great job brother for the amazing content at the same time it also saddened me to see the pathetic town planning of our beautiful city. Even from high above we can see no trace of asphalt visible on our small road. The sides of the small road are yellowish which I assume is not a footpath, the main town center needs a flyover to curb the menace of traffics. Even the deserted looking stadium is like an ancient roman amphitheatre..😥😥
