If you failed to realise the word Babble was the deliberate use of a descriptive term to help people understand the ridiculous nature of what is contained in the ancient fairy tale, that is the mainstay of Christianity then you are beyond help.

@Craig Silver We understand the supernatural very very well thank you. YOU may not understand it. But science does as science created the word. Supernatural is made up of Super and Natural. This means NOT NATURAL. So super natural simply means not in nature. Seeing that nature encompasses all universes anything that is supernatural is NOT of our universes and thus DOES NOT EXIST. If we consider a reported supernatural event. What this means is someone witnessed an event that THEY cannot explain. If experts in the related fields are brought in and they CAN explain it the event is no longer supernatural - it is now natural. So any person claiming to witness a supernatural event they are actually saying to the world - I saw something I did not understand. Why would anyone need Jesus to understand words in a book written by men? Millions of scholars have researched the Bible and have a much better understanding of it than 99.999% of priests and preachers. The vast majority of those scholars come to the same conclusion - there is no evidence that the Bible is even an accurate statement of the time let alone a literally accurate work. It is full of contradictions and scientific inaccuracies and mistakes. Exactly what you would expect from a book written by men that knew the science of the time. if it was in any way literally the words of an infallible all knowing God then it would contain amazing knowledge that was not known by the educated of the time. It contains NONE of this knowledge.

Kevin Sugrue I never heard him say that he wanted them banned, just that he found their self-serving business practices disgusting, as do I. They made billions by lying to their customers, and in the case of big Oil, may have doomed countless children to lives of mediocrity due to lead poisoning, causing lowered IQ, and many birth defects. Big Tobacco lied for decades, told everybody that cigarettes weren't dangerous, dooming millions to slow death by cancer. If people had known about the effects of smoking earluer, how many lives could have been saved?

First I didn't care, I was essentially a secular person with some vague belief in God left over from my upbringing, then came the issue-by-issue political transformation. it took a while for me to realise theism is false. but I'm glad I'm here.

His two biggest failures were making poor trade deals with the natives, resulting in a food shortage, and then using most of the manpower of Jamestown to build a governor's mansion in the woods during said food shortage. There also were accusations of him hiding food for himself, although he apparently claimed it was for his sick children. He also had one of the most gruesome deaths in the history of America. Was duped along with 14 other colonists by a hostile native group into what they thought was a trade deal. After his fellows were ambushed and slain, he then had all of his skin cut off and burned in a fire before his now skin-less but still very much alive body was burned on the stake.

The last part of his talk really hits home for me. I saw things like he did excited of what our future would be. A bit scared cause all the information at everyone’s fingertips could leave me behind. A future of a smarter humanity. But I am so sorely wrong. I didn’t figure a greed with out responsibility and a rabid want of power in our America. Where religion was once again used more for control than innocent faith. To watch as we are bought and sold. Promises of pension and jobs ripped out from the middle and poorer classes. Asked to give more so the rich can throw bones like in early centuries oops I mean trickle down economics. Aron Ra I thank you and your family for your efforts to bring fact and realism into education. To fight for science. To call out religious encroachment. 7:47 regarding the manipulation of religion: I’m re-watching the show “Vikings” right now and it’s amazing how similar of fashion that the Norse gods are used to manipulate the people as the Christian god is used to manipulate people today. There’s a particular scene in the fourth season where this ex-Earl’s son is resentful that his father the Earl was murdered. He vowed vengeance to kill his fathers’ murderers’ son; since the son took his wife-deservedly (the Earl father was the worst A-hole who murdered a lot of people and the son was just as much an A-hole). The son told his now ex-wife that, “The gods have willed you to kill Ragnar’s son.” This was obviously made up, even though the show depicts the Norse gods and the Christian god to be true lol. It reminded me of how often I hear, “It’s ‘God’s’ will that you are to [insert BS action here].” When in reality it is men’s will to have something to control other people. Religion is the worst thing about humanity. You may disagree and say murder/rape/child molestation is the worst thing about humanity but religion does all of those things without consequence; it’s gods, such as the Christian god, even promotes that in their bibles at times.

My fellow Christians: When the bible says that the earth is a circle it's not calling it a disc or a sphere because discs and spheres are both 3d while circles are 2d. The text is ambiguous like that on purpose because most people back then didn't know the earth was a sphere but that didn't matter at that point in the development of the human race. Then dealing with it the same way when minor issues turned into major issues and destructive patterns. Well, guess I can't blame her for anything she did... since she did nothing! I think this may be the cause atheist marriage actually have a slightly better chance to work than an evangelical christian marriage. 3:16-3:20 I'd definetly agree with you on that Aron. There are some church's that "I feel" spread false claims. Yes Dinosaurs existed, however you might think of me as a joke but I actually am an individual who accepts the Earth as being several 1000 years old, that the God of the Christian Bible could have created an already mature universe and wouldn't have needed to go through long drawn out process's taking millions and billions of years. If you ask me well where's proof im certain i cant give any that would be suitable for you. However wether you agree or not I do feel there is good evidence of scientific information in the Bible. Info pertaining to the fact the Earth is rounded, it rotates, it floats in outer space, etc. Also for how complex life is even if there was millions of years for alleged evolution to take place there seem to me to be many insurmountable milestones for life to get past in order too get to something such as us. Im sorry but i simply dont see it ad possible for something such as sexual reproduction as getting going "on its own" resulting on two genders forming capable of producing two sex cells containing half the genetic materials from the parent organism it came from.

The true reason I smoke is because I like it. Because it helps me relax when I am mad about something or someone. And helps me pass my time when I have nothing to do. Either that or gum. Everyone tells me I am going to eventually die or get sick and I know it. However I still do it. The hypocrisy here is that they tell me to stop smoking even though 1. My dad is a drunk who gets mad if he has no money to buy his drinks and cigarettes to the point he wasted 20 of 40 dollars I gave him to fuel his tank. And got mad because I didn't have any more for his gas. 2. Coworkers who are adicted to Marihuana and get mad if they don't have or can't take a break to smoke it. And this same people tell me I should stop because I am killing myself. Even though in the 2 years of smoking I have spent several days without litting a cigarette and they overdraft themselves to buy what they want. We all going to die anyway, I will simply enjoy whatever I want in the meantime. BTW Aron for president.

It sickens me to know that this is actually going on in America. I watch lots of American news on youtube and it confounds me the sheer madness of some of the stories. Its like watching a soap opera what with trump and his many firings (spicer, scaramucci etc) as well as his destruction of things like the EPA and health care. But you summarized it brilliantly, so thank you. Yeah, we have the same kind of thing with regards to all insurances outwith health. Its a terrible state to be in and I really do feel sorry for you. I know what its like to scrimp and scrape. But can I ask you a question about what youve said? Is the healthcare bill a failure mainly due to pharmaceutical companies increasing their prices after the healthcare bill? If it is then the bill could be savable if only restrictions could be put on the companies increasing the prices of your drugs. Also, $695 fine is a ridiculous state of affairs. Like I said, I really do feel for you mate. Over here we pay tax on all goods which goes towards healthcare, better streets, etc etc. Would you see it as a benefit if everything you bought was taxed? Im sure you can see that free healthcare cant really be a thing. Yes it would be nice, but its impossible to help you as well as all the doctors, nurses etc without taxation. @Jesus Christ Glorified the point is that he doesn't make paying a necessity to see his content. And what do you mean by ignorant? The only thing I could think of as ignorant is him insisting that scientific theories be taught as fact. That is completely unnecessary, since we don't need to take this very humble aspect of science away in order to reek the benefits of them. It distracts from the fact that we're supposed to try and disprove our theories so that we can make a new better one. But even then, he makes up for it by talking about how we should try to disprove it even if it seems impossible. So with that removed since it isn't that bad. What does he do that is ignorant?

That already encompasses anything we can possibly know. And might I ask when exactly he misunderstood an entire chapter in the Bible?
