because when she does she seems to be somewhere else
headphones are still leading
her to another place
where she can dance with Ronnie Spector
and sing with her
moving feet, clapping hands
and turning around her till she can hear the song

She made such beautiful music, it’s too bad that Phil Spector got railroaded into prison. I guess if you live by the sword you die by the sword. I’ll always remember the wall off sound and the am radio hits that made the sixties… RIP.
