If contact is made with the Nutalarm1000, an alarm will sound and the player will die to Hibernating Sandy. The Nutalarm1000 appears to follow set pathing inside the treehouse, so it can be fooled to go the long ways around tables and other furniture easily."

After all, she did help stop their first invasion. Maybe they tried killing her only to then get met with a giant hairy killing machine.

Funny thing I pointed out at TV Tropes was that Sandy was the one who helped SpongeBob stop the Jelliens last time, so you'd think if the Overlord hates SpongeBob, they'd go after Sandy too. There's an easter egg in this level that shows the Pinhead Larry and Dirty Dan gravestones from that episode, but those should've melted after that Winter was over, meaning the ones here are brand new. What if the reason Sandy's so aggressive and ranting about Pinhead Larry when she wakes up is because SpongeBob and Patrick weren't the first people to knock on her door that night? What if some Jelliens or Clones got in, looking for revenge, only to be met with a giant, feral squirrel that could literally rip their scalps off?

That is a good point. The jelliens don't seem to be bothered by the cold so they could have gone in. But a creature the size of the overlord itself with the strength of ten prowlers, I don't know about you, but I would be terrified if I was a Jellien and saw something like that running full speed towards me.

Apparently the original version had you getting torches to melt the ice and there was wormy who would blind you with his infamous jumpscares and wake up Sandy. It was scrapped for being too easy and was a time trial and took 10 minutes as a time trial

Even more than that since some characters face threats they didn't meet in canon; for example, Squidward never met Dennis, but in that last level before this one he had to run for his life from him in the Salty Spitoon. It's also cool that there are new threats too, like Prince Jellien, Mr. Krabs facing Pearl's clone, and Spongebob working out enough to defeat clone Larry. It's not just their greatest threats, it's like a dope remix.

Unlike the normal jellyfish, Big Lenny will attempt to kill people with his stings rather than simply stun them, which is why being caught by him in Squidward's first level results in a Game Over. (Only one person, Dr. Manowar, is known to have survived a direct encounter with Big Lenny in the SpongeBob canon)

Honestly from someone who actually beat this level when your outside run like there’s no tomorrow since the alarm isint the fastest thing out there you can outrun it but when it burrows you need to go to places like the hills of snow because It can’t burrow through that so it either goes around or comes up from burrowing now when your inside the tree is when it gets hard due to the whole no running thing what you need to do is find ways to outsmart it by making it go the long way while you keep going so it’s always behind you when it starts barricading doors and blocks up escape routes you need to start coming up with new plans to get around the doors the alarm blocks are the door near the fire place and the door right across that door another bit of advice is to pay attention to where the alarm comes the alarm can either go through the ladder door that leads to the outside or the window in sandys bedroom so be careful i hope this helps
