The happy atmosphere around the kotatsu is very nice.😊 And it totally looks like a Japanese home. I want to relax under a kotatsu at my parents' house at the end of the year, too😅 The girls in aprons helping out are so cute! This is the same supermarket that is in my neighborhood. Each store is different, baking its own bread and so on.

I can only imagine how cozy the Kotatsu is! I wouldn't want to leave from under it either. The colors of the trees and the sky is just magnificent! Breakfast looked delightful as well! Happy Weekend to you all!

Earlier this week, I had one of your music themes stuck in my head that you play throughout these videos, Nate! Thank you so much for creating these magical moments with all of your well-established production skills! Especially the music! Although everything else is excellent as well! For many years, we Japanese have formed close family relationships in small spaces. From the children's perspective, living in Japan with no privacy may be uncomfortable. However, I am sure that the days you spent living closely with your family will become your treasure.

Here in Ohio the leaves are already mostly gone. But we're having a warmer than usual December this year so there's actually still some green on the shorter shrub trees. And all the grass is still green. Ordinarily, winter would have already reared its ugly head by now, but it hasn't yet this year which is great for my electrc bill! I'm still waiting to see if my new kotatsu will make a difference on those massive heating bills when it's below zero outside! Lol
@LIJ
@LIJ 9 ай бұрын
Our kotatsu makes it so we don't have to keep it so warm inside (when it gets really cold outside) - so it does help to keep heating cost down. I'm glad you'll be trying one out!

Gosh, your living room looks so warm and comfy with that kotatsu! I'm so scared that my lazy butt will become even lazier once I have one in my house, (plus vacuuming becomes a bit of a hassle around kotatsu area, doesn't it?) so I decided long time ago that it's not something that I should own.....even tho I'm Japanese..and I grew up with it.... Now I'm having second thoughts. Ngl, it's tempting 😂😂😂

The music sounds great! Are you going to put your Christmas Eve service online? Christmas Eve at Church is such a special time! My kids love the singing and the candle lighting! What are some of your family Christmas traditions? Our favourite traditions are reading our advent devotional and lighting the advent wreath, advent calendars, Christmas movie weekends and making a birthday cake (or whatever dessert we want) for Jesus and singing happy birthday to him on Christmas Day than we have it for breakfast! Have a fantastic weekend

What a great tradition! We do similar things, a lot of them around the Kotatsu this year. The Christmas service will be online at @PAZChurch - but look for it early because 10:00 AM on the 24th in Japan is a lot earlier in other parts of the world!
