Around the southern tip of Sylt - along the dunes, the Wadden Sea and miles of beaches(2021, 4k)

The hike around the southern tip of Sylt near Hörnum starts at the bus stop (line 2) at Bunker Hill and goes through the Rantum dunes along the blooming salt marshes and the Wadden Sea to the Wattwanderweg near Hörnum. There along the harbor to the beach promenade and after a detour to the city forest, continue along the beach to the southern tip of Sylt, the Hörnum-Odde. Then along the kilometer-long beach and through the tetrapod field to Hörnumer Strand Nord. Continue along the beach up to the Bunker Hill lookout and back to the bus stop. There with the bus line 2 back to Westerland. Distance approx. 12 km, duration approx. 4 hours and +/- 70 meters in altitude. The GP data: www.alltrails.... . Hallo Horst, fast genau die Tour bin ich bei einem Bildungsurlaub auf mal gelaufen. Eine richtig schöne Tour. Die Bilder sprechen für sich, nicht so schön wie auf Texel, aber für Sylt immerhin. 😉😄 Wie sehe nutzt Du auch die Vorzüge einer gepflegten Fußmassage. Und die Möve hat mal einen richtige dicken Fang gemacht. Viele Grüße Oliver
