We continue to pray for Lazar AND we continue to support the CrossFit community and affiliates. Let’s start a grassroots effort and get more people than ever to sign up for the Open!!!

Nope. The company CF has failed the same community in so many ways now, it needs to go away. We can do all this without some money grapping HQ.

Lucy, please don’t ever just bark that a person isn’t an athlete like that, you have no idea. Listening to this episode I think one thing is super clear to me. This younger generation of athletes that are gonna die on there hill are trying to be malicious and not going about it well smart. There gonna bleed out sooner then later, so let em go feel like they “won” and we can all move on continuing to practice the methodology and view the sport we know and love.

Many take aways from playing rugby BUT play to your ma’am or sir and respect what’s being dished or go to the sin bin and know your team is frustrated with you because they’re down a player

The Level 1 is ok to open a box and train groups of people often unfit in quite complex movements, but it's not good enough to be a judge? Ridicolous

You’re comparing apples and oranges and that’s what’s ridiculous. Judging us about hitting standards the competition rules require. I must have been in the bathroom during that segment of the L1.

@CoffeePodsAndWods I was commenting on the idea aired on the podcast that an L1 PLUS the judges course is not enough. Some people want L1+L2+judge course. Ridicolous. One could argue that the judge course is enough (as it was in the past).
@CoffeePodsAndWods2 ай бұрын
But that’s not what you said, and, nobody said you needed a Level 2 on the podcast. The new judges course was mentioned. I think athletes are right to be apprehensive of judging and standards in online format considering the history of that but it’s up to them to do it right and not get caught out for skirting lines. Either way, both of your uses of ridiculous are wrong

@CoffeePodsAndWods the Level 1 was mentioned (as not appropriate) in the context of the new requirements for judges. So I thought it was clear what I was referring to. I understand the concerns of the athletes. My point was that if L1 was good enough to be a prerequisite to open a box , it should be more than enough as a prerequisite to become a judge after the specific course.

It was clear what you were referring to, just your logic was skewed. The L1 doesn’t teach you how to judge. It jump starts you on the track of learning to coach. Like I said, apples and oranges.
