Funny thing is that on the BBC version (when I remember it from around 1990) it used to have a slightly version of the theme used in the opening credits. Strange how they changed it

treguard1982 it is complicated. This endind is called "Rigodon" and that is the Song you hear. But the real ending was in Spain a slower Version in Original "Silbame". Thats the Ending with the different Clocks.

@@BarneyStinson15 Why when they put out the DVD release later on BRB decided to use "Rigodon" as the end theme for the English episode rather than follow how the English version kept to the opening theme song for the end credits.

When this aired on BBC One in 1988, (Specifically 1988.) does anyone know for certain if the episodes featured this song? Because I have conflicting memories as to whether they used this or just recycled the opening song over the end credits. See, I didn't remember this song until I heard it on the internet some years ago. Then it began to sound massively familiar, to the point where I started to become 100% certain that I'd heard it over the end credits all those years before. But what confuses me, is that I'm also 100% certain that I remember the opening theme fading out to the shot you see in this video "Round, round, all around the world..." into the broom cupboard. But I cannot find footage from off-air recordings to answer the question.

I was agreeing with you till I heard the "sail away" bit as that was definitely part of the closing credit s I remember.. it was a shorter version of this..the full song could have been in an episode also. I don't remember the fade out bit in the opening

One theory I have is that it may have been different on the VHS release of the series. I only had one tape, with two episodes. Oh, the bit about the opening theme fading I phrased poorly. I meant the song fading out during the end credits. It's just a curious thing how I have mixed memories of how the episodes ended. I did see a comment, absolutely years ago, asking the same thing about the end theme. So there's at least one other person who had the same confusion over it.

I had this on tape.. And I don't remember it well.. But I always remember the first episode had something different in the intro or ending but can't rememeber what.

@@clevm002 Interesting. One thing I've noticed, trying to find an answer to this, is that there are two slightly different versions of the English language intro in existence. As the sequence begins, there's a version with a fancy typeface of the show's name and another version with a very basic text. Also, some differences in staff credits which appear in the opening. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rmfPgI2AoqZ-Y7c kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJ_Uf5Jtmqx8qq8 Those clips also show that both the VHS release and the CBBC airing have the same cut of the opening theme over the end titles. It's quite a mystery as to how I definitely remember the theme in this video. It must have been used in an English language release, but I can't find evidence of it.

Mmm, not very good compared to the original spanish one (im someone who doesnt hate dubs and localizations btw) but here rigodon and tico sound like drunks and you cant even understand a lot of the words. In Spain, even with the strong french and andalusian accents both characters have, you can understand them perfectly (may most of the spanish cast RIP :( ) I also dont enjoy the part were they say willy fog and tico too, wtf. The song is not about them, is about finding friends, and why would tico that is also singing say he will be there too in third person? Lol
