MilanDigitalAudio Thx for let us listen a remarkable brilliant piece of Bach-VIvaldi. So we can evaluete the true possibilities of the virtual organ and I was happy to hear a really aproximate sound of the CDs I have of this piece. Hope your demos in your site go this way, more Bach, Reger, de Grigny, Clerambaul (french organ music) and, why not, Cabezon in a Toledo Organ?

Very nice sound and well played... but it is NOT Handel's Organ Concerto Opus 7 No. 10 in D Minor. This is Bach's Concerto in A minor BWV-593 - 1st Movement (after Vivaldi).

Yes to both of your questions. Check out the Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ website for complete information and you can also download a trial version for testing. Thanks.

Hauptwerk can run on pretty much any computer, Windows or OS X. It was originally developed using older Pentium III and IV processors. What type of computer have you tried it on? If you do not have a MIDI or audio device connected it will not run, however the computer itself, especially if newer should be able to run Hauptwerk and most of the available orgns without problems.

Perhaps a corrupted installation. What version of Hauptwerk are you trying to install? What version of Windows are you running? Please feel free to contact me via email and I will be happy to assist you in getting Hauptwerk running on your computer. You can visit our website and use the contact page to email us.

I know which organ this is, its close to Hamburg airport isn't it? Where they had that dispute over the extension of the runway?
@GilbertoGuarino5 жыл бұрын
No... This organ is an Arp Schnitger, in Cappel, close to Bremenhaven, quite far from Hamburg

What exactly do you need for a Virtual organ? I have a Keyboard with USB and a Pedalboard and a Clavinova with MIDI. How do you connect the MIDI with the computer?

This performance seems to me...to be without bite and snap... is it the sample sound or the player's attack? Is this compressed? I'm coming back to this tomorrow for another listen.

You will need to have a MIDI device attached to the laptop otherwise Hauptwerk will not run. Again, please contact me via email if you require any further advice. Thank you.

Can these virtual organs be used to run midi files? Without an external midi-keyboard plugged in. Or can I use it as an VST plugin for MAGIX music maker to play midi files with these virtual organs?
@FredMellink557 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. The MIDI files are also "system exclusive" Even MIDI files recorded on one organ can be played back on another organ but you need to tweak becasue registration is different per organ, the number and other of keyboards. Go to the hauptwerk.com website and you can find all info.
