Regarding the opening bowing options, I liked the way you performed the third option best. However, I believe Zukerman's bowing is the most intuitive and idiomatic for the phrase structure.

Very lovely! Really love your inflections/treatments! PS - the Arpeggione is alive and well! It is known as the GuitarViol and, over the last 20 years, has been used in thousands of queues by hundreds of composers and heard by millions daily (just not on Classical radio, yet). SØREN MIKKEL DALSGAÄRD released an Arpeggione opus 'AFLEVERE' last year. Cheers!

Concerning the choice of fingerings, I support the "cool" second option as it is more efficient by supplanting the larger shift from half to third positions on the D string with an extended 2nd finger from the third to fourth positions.
