I know many of you wish I would upload more consistently, so hopefully these reformatted videos allow me to do just that. I used a lot of new actors, equipment, software and techniques for this one so the mixing might not be at the same standard as normal, but it will definitely improve as I get more used to it. I also feel like Castin doesn’t let us speak freely since we got pregnant (i keep saying “we” but you get it 😭) I feel like since he cares a bit too much for us, he thinks he has to handle everything alone and doesn’t want us to be involved in anything. @Ccmxllc65 yk how it’s a tender situation because the baroness being pregnant isn’t just about them but the whole nation so I think his over protection is pretty valid, and we still don’t know who lord carter was to her and he could potentially be dangerous to the baroness which in turn could put the baby in harms way. I mean some just tried to kill her so I understand but at the same time he’s got a really good reason. (I know I might be way too into this story line, apologies 🙂‍↕️)

I think this is going to be another big learning curve for castin to trust his wife more than his warriors instinct because I think that’s what he’s deciding to base his actions on since it’s worked in the past lol.

I may be swarmed with people defending Castin but I really am not on his side with this. I mean even though it definitely seems that Lord Borris or whatever is bad news but Castin just dragged the Baroness out of the Inn ,for her own safety, I understand that but she said she didn’t want to leave. Spies were involved, rumors were spread. There was a bad storm people didn’t want to help and Castin thought it would be a bright idea that taking the village through force would be smart. Imperials retaliated and Castin ,himself, thought again no well retaliate the retaliators. And baroness agrees because “it’s us against the world” this isn’t going to go well.

I'mma start by saying I am THRILLED to see this new episode, do not take my following comments for anything less than love for this series and appreciation for all the hard work that went into it. However, while I love how protective Castin is, he does not consult with us despite how often he's said he admires our intelligence, he makes brash and foolhardy decisions and promises we will be okay with no way of backing it up; now we are up against a man that terrifies us while doing things that we don't agree with and war is at hand. I hope Castin learns to listen and work with those trying to support him, not just act how he wants to. He makes for a great soldier, but this is politics and he is out of his depth. I trust we will survive but he has many a hard lesson to learn.

Unpopular opinion… Castin is low-key right here. You have to look at it from his perspective guys. All he knows about this “Lord Carter” is that his wife (LOVE OF HIS LIFE) has literal nightmares about him. If i were him, I’d say no too. For anyone not knowing why its a little shorter and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure it's a little shorter because he did say this would be a wee bit longer series than he anticipated it to be, probably into 4 parts so he probably shortened it for that reason, in my head it's probably going into: part 1, part 2, part 2.5, part 3. AND THE PLOT THICKENS. Ngl I was not pleased with Castin in this ep. I get that he took her out of the inn for her protection and had no way of knowing it would make things worse, but the problem is that he kept responding to bad decisions with more bad decisions. Anri and Baroness tried to tell him what was what and he didn't listen. Omgosh but Anri slayed fr, our queen. I honestly love seeing how protective the Imperials are over their baroness, even lord Borris refers to her as such, their baroness. I desperately want to see Baroness pull the biggest brain play in the world and be the political queen we know she can be. As much as I love Castin (golden retriever king) he has been trampling Baroness a little bit lately, I hope we see her put him in this place about that and for them to become stronger afterwards. So excited for next chapter!

Happy New Year!!🙏 This installment made my blood pressure spike fr. I’m about to crash out at the lack of agency the Baroness is being given. As bad as Lord Carter is, he has a point. What’s frustrating is no one takes the Baroness or her word seriously. The villages won’t hear her because they assume she’s being coerced or manipulated. Her own husband won’t listen to her in the name of their child’s safety. It’s beginning to feel a lot like Castins more focused on the baby and his wife as a concept being safe and his prejudice for *HER HOMELAND* rather than his wife’s opinions. Feeling a bit dehumanized here 😬 Hopefully the next episode will be out sooner than this one because I’m hooked on this cliffhanger👀
