'The band as a keyboard' ... What a great illustration!

very true , theres sometimes I see myself just using 2 keys while the entire band is playing just cuz is too much. Keyboard is an instrument that runs basically the entire audio spectrum and can fill up the sound very quickly for good or for bad.

a lot of the time i follow that (spreading out the guitars) concept. However!, there are times when two guitars together can really Fatten things up. mainly on songs with riffs and not just chords. never ignore other avenues.

Paul Baloche only knows how to arrange acoustic rock and nothing else! Perhaps it's time for him to learn new genres of music.

What I like about Paul is that he's humble. He doesn't speak for all of the band, like "as if" he knows everything. That's why he also depends on his band and trust what they know. And about the genre, well, he doesn't need to learn new genre. What I like about his style is that it's flexible for most, not all, of the congregation as of this generation. Not too oldish yet not too edm modern style.
