Well the U.S. have always said it would not. They still view themselves as the World court as we are all living within their empire. Blinken has recently said that those who are not at the table wiill be on the menu, when discussing the U.S. vision of internationalism, which places them at the top. What will be interesting is if the E.U. 1) will honour the arrest warrants and 2) given that Ireland and Spain are pushing for suspension of trade with Israel and other such sanctions, will the E.U. drop its threat of action against E.U. member states that do introduce trade sanctions against Israel. Afterall this is a legal document in the highest of international courts and if there is anywhere in the World that should uphold its integrity, given its history, then it should be the E.U. leading the way.
