Honestly they never should’ve changed this. Widow is a hit scan & she is 1 shot. She has a sniper that converts into a fully automatic weapon. Hanzo has a bow & arrow.

@@brycenb2994 Seriously? They’re both DPS. Anyone who knows the characters will pick widow because not only is it easier, but it does more damage. Her weapon is significantly easier to use, yet does more damage. How does that make sense? It’s about balancing the characters. If you get a new player who tries both hanzo & widowmaker, the only reason they’d choose hanzo is because they probably think he’s cooler. Now that they BOTH 1 shot, they can pick which one they want to use based on preference, not damage output. Does that clear things up?

Before Hanzo got nerfed he was played in eSports on maps like liyang in the close up tower because you had good angles for him he by no means fills the same comp as widow since she is so susceptible to dive

I mained hanzo from like 2017/18-2022. I stopped cuz I started one tricking doom, but I'm incredibly happy they reverted this change. It felt so crappy to see people get headshots and 0 kills from them.

It still feels like a decent amount you can't one shot. LW, brig, torb, reaper, mei, bastion, cass, sym. Before season 9 you could one shot the 225 hps, but you can't with the 275s now, which feels like a fair compromise imo.
