As a low rank Hanzo that uses this play style, i can garauntee that It works many MANY times. Raccomend to shoot after the fight starts, so they'll not pay attention to you at all. Also to notice that if they Chase you and you Hide, their attention Will fall to something else making the shots easier.

I think there's a different reason this playstyle doesn't work in low ranks, and that's because it actually works too well. Flanking on a character that casuals hate like Hanzo makes 3-4 players turn for you every fight, and your own team has so little gamesense because it's low rank that they don't take advantage of the distraction you made. Then you have those same 3-4 people chasing you around the map all game, and even if you hit every headshot (which doesn't happen cuz you're low ranked) it's still not likely you win the 3v1 with nerfed Hanzo.

Nahh you need to be the one who makes them take advantage of the distraction. You need to start shooting AFTER thr enemies are already fighting ur team. Then when they turn around your team is already shooting at their backs

Feels like that with any character. Sometimes I won't realize I'm standing out until 3 or 4 people ignore my entire team to focus me and I'll be like "What? Why me?" then realize I have 10 kills and my other dps has 3 or something and I'm like "Oh... but I'm not doing *that* good, that was unnecessary..." Also a lot of people in low ranks will hard focus someone if they get shit on by them one time, which works out great for you if they come back from spawn ignoring your team and looking for revenge and you kill them again😂

It means my oneshot forecast is holding. I said that they will reduce hp of many heroes to 225 and replace some of the remaining hp with armor to only make them squishier against high dmg shots and that they will probably test and experiment with armor changes before making the hp reduction. And now they making armor stronger 👀👀

Any time I play dps I decide whether I'm going to hang out with the tank more or try to get a different angle than what my team takes to try to divide the enemy's attention. It depends on like 3 dozen different factors though, because it's Overwatch. It was really satisfying playing Rein vs. Rein the other day because the guy I was against was about the same as me mechanically and Reinically and the only time I seemed to get an advantage over him was with positioning. Long game ended with a draw but was still pretty fun and I think eventually the other Rein kind of gave up so I guess I won the Rein mental battle.
