Sticking up two fingers has different meanings depending which way the hand is facing. To swear, you do a V with knuckles facing towards the other person. For peace, you do a V with your palm facing the other person. As stated above it was meant as a "F U" to the French by our archers, showing them we can still fight.

I love Coral Island, though I have never seen it so quiet, you did well, for future reference, when that 30 ticket, went down the other slot, you can ask them to retrieve it, if they can find it, they will give it to you, and I agree pirate flyer is super fun!! Great video, thanks for sharing 😁👍

I remember reading that the "peace" sign in england is like flipping the bird because back in medieval days they would cut off the fingers of archers who got captured in war so they couldn't use their bows... so on the battle field archers would show the opposing side their two fingers(peace sign) mockingly. so it similar to a big "FU"

Seems someone has made off with one of them balls! :D I usually end up in Blackpool for stag-do's or threshold birthdays, and venture into Coral Island, but just the casino bit... Few spins on the roulette, a few beers... More so the morning after the night before, for a quiet hair of the dog! :D hehehe I just hope Coral Island take notice of this video, because every other machine seems to be knackered or not working... Which is such a shame, because, well... Where is the fun if you plough money in an already expensive and rigged machine, only to find out it's knackered anyway! :/

No way we love coral island and was there a few weeks ago! We won a few tickets and I got some toys for my boys. The pirate flyer is lots of fun! They do great food in that buccaneer restaurant too. Glad you enjoyed it 😊

Depends on which way the 2 fingers are. If they are in the peace (palm facing away) that's fine. Means peace. If the 2 fingers are up and your palm is facing you, it's a bad word 😂

You must have got there very early in the day, whenever we go to Coral Island its always absolutely packed out, and you can never get on the pirate boat, the queue is too long. Great prize, looks like you guys had a great time in Blackpool.

Coral Island is probably the best themed arcade in the UK but every time I’ve been it has been packed and trying to redeem your tokens for prizes is a mission. I wish they’d go to a card system as I’m personally not a fan of physical tickets. That’s the quietest I’ve ever seen it.

Its been a couple of years since I last visited blackpool we love coral Island but you dont expect to win much those claw machine are so rigged. Great to see you in the UK again i hope you had a good time. Next time you should record more content like trying the UK foods etc.

I(n the UK its not a "peace" sign. Its either a victory sign (Winston Churchill) or a "go forth and multiply" sign that goes back to medieval times and archers waving their bow drawing fingers at enemies.

Just ro let u know with the tickets u dont habe to spend them the same day ie if ur sraying in blackpool.for a while u can go away and come back a nother day with the receipt after cashing the tickets in as they dont expire so if u save the ticket receipts u can go back a nother day and keep doing that till u have loads and then get bigger and better prizes
