Arriva Midlands Wigston Depot on a Bright Tech Developments Bus Display

*Displays Correct 23rd June 2016* This is a long video 22 minutes (Wigston Routes)
All Arriva buses outside London are now fitted with Hanover Orange or White Led Displays so all other destination types have now been removed.
This is my Bright-Tech Developments Set, LED Front, Bright Dot Side and Numbers Power Blind rear, now showing Arriva Midlands Wigston Depot (Displays 1 to 70) the next video shows Arriva Midlands Thurmaston Depot (Displays 71 t0 142)
Front is a 240 by 16 LED Display. Side is a 90 by 8 Bright dot and a Power Roller Rear.
It is powered by a Omron S8VS-09024 Power Supply Input 240v 2.3A Output 24v 3.7SA found on eBay.
Please note that I have now got the power rollers numbers back lights working the two 5 watt fluorescent tubes have been replaced with 5 24v marker lights as the ballast was faulty for this video.

I wouldn't mind the big version of the Bright Dot display sometime. From a distance the it looks the same as the old Bright Tech's full length display

Uploaded in 2016 yet the 51's on here and not the Thurmaston one? You must have predicted the future.

Wigston did 51's at night only. However your right should be on Thurmaston's as well and with via Rowley Fields Avenue. This was cancelled when route was transferred to Wigston.

I got a few arriva routes you can type in on your led screen. These are from Newcastle tho (Newcastle 309 Haymarket via Tynemouth - Whitby Bay - Chillingham Road) (Cobalt 309 businesses park express via Chillingham Road)

Hanover seem to be on ebay alot as more buses with these blinds get scrapped. Bright Techs like mine much rearer.

how do you get the destinations to flash on the bottom instead of scroll?

My Bright Tech Display can only flash can't scroll I have done a long video on how to program using Windscreen3 Software. On newer Hanover Displays it done using the Helen Software, Arriva Flash top line, First Bus Flash bottom line and Stage Coach Scroll bottom line in the East Midlands Area.

Yes, original controller battery leaked but I have spare newer one. Got a bus stopping sign and passenger information display by bright tech red led now as well. :-)
