Thanks for the info I am going to Egypt soon what do you need a Sim card for I have TMobile it kinda works overseas I been to the middle East but never to Egypt
@Dashtinations5 жыл бұрын
It probably won't work or will be very high roaming cost. I get Vodafone and it's not too much. Also need an unlocked phone. If you just need wifi you can find it in restaurants in main areas but not so much other areas.

Great video. Quick question. I am going to Egypt in Nov 2019. I will be arriving at 2 am. What is the safest way to get to Giza. Any recommendations? Stay in a nearby hotel rather than travel to Giza in the middle of night? Plan is to go to Giza and stay 2 days there near the pyramids. Thanks

I'm not sure of that, I came during the day. I think I've read it depends on terminal as well. From what I've been told after 11pm sometimes it's open sometimes it isn't which is pretty typical for Egypt 🤷🏻♂️😅

I am writting a novel called Fight for the planet...Here is an excerpt. A device was found in (name of airport). Passengers were cleared as a little robot that looked like RDD2 rolled out of a vehicule that look like a space module. Air traffic grinded to a halt. Eco terrorists were getting their message across. Gvts were cleaning up their act. +++ Like it ?

so we plan to go in March of next year. Did you use Euros or their currency the reason why I say that is because I read that you can use Euros. Anyways we will be coming from the states anyways. We plan to stay at a higher end hotel where did you stay?
@Dashtinations3 жыл бұрын
To get the visa you use usd or euros. Egypt is very cheap you want to convert to local currency or else you will overpay for everything. I used to live there so I stayed in a flat I rented. You can also find airbnb at cheap prices.

Quick question, do they take a credit card at the Vodafone booth or you paid cash? EP or dollars? IF EP, then did you go to the currency exchange at the airport? Thanks buddy.
@Dashtinations3 жыл бұрын
I paid cash in Egyptian LE, but I would think they most likely take card. As for other currency um not sure. They might since it's airport but if not exchange is right there.

@@mbadi5735 yeah I paid Egyptian pounds, I prefer the old taxis. The black and white used to be the best but you rarely see those as much. But only if you know the right prices. If not then Uber is better, or you can Uber as a reference regular taxi should always be cheaper then your Uber quote
