The two of them got together and cooked up a HIGHLY unusual 10 years' worth of experience specified for those doing the work. This ensures a maximum dollar figure granted. Kristian doctored the resumes of his subcontractors (he admitted so during committee meeting) and then it seems pocketed the difference. It is highly likely that this is the money which was kicked back to MacDonald.

We need to see every contract that GC strategies has issued and we need to see accountability for the time and hours spent that accrue to the 60 million. I have worked at mobile phone and software app development houses for over 15 years now... and this is the most outrageous cost (for what was a terrible app and experience) I have ever seen! I am struggling to understand how they could actually spend that much money... I imagine they had groups of consultants billing at $500 an hour 24 hours a day for the entire pandemic... We need to see the paper trail... This money alone inserted into the local economy would absolutely alleviate the financial hardships Canadians are facing. This government is so corrupt and incompetent I can't believe Canadians are not rioting in the streets right now

I worked for a large corporation. It was observed as a result of an audit that there had been a shift from employees doing the work to those same employees awarding the work to contractors. Resulting in a fast and loose approval process leading to poor outcomes and out of control cost. An audit is in order.
