Arrivederci Grimethorpe 1979 - Part 1 of 5

Arrivederci Grimethorpe is a film of the tour of Northern Italy made by the Grimethorpe Colliery Band during summer 1979. Narrated by the late, great Brian Glover, it shows the band parading through the streets to the Montepulciano Music Festival and their concert in the Italian mining village of Abbadua San Salvatore, Umbria.
There are interviews with Elgar Howarth, band members and also includes footage of Mr.Howarth rehearsing the band on Le Carnival Romain in the weeks leading up to that years British Open Championships (watch out for a youthful Robert Childs!).
