Wow, you were brave! I'm not sure I would have had a go at that arch, although not much choice once you are there :). Ian

I will be doing the A64 route Monday and passing castle Howard p.s police are always monertring that route for speeding etc. My partner had to go on a course has we were in his work van and did not know it was 10mph less for it lol, but i am sure you do know about that.

Yes, I did know about speed limits for goods vehicles under 7.5 tonnes as they are the same for motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes, which are also 50 mph on single carriageways, 60 on dual, 70 on motorways, unless towing when it's 60 on motorways.

Always go down the stray when we go to North Yorkshire moors, cuts out Pickering. Always pull mirrors in and breath in when going through the arch. Wonderful road.

Thank you. The narrow lanes of GB are one thing. That arch made me nervous. Trips where you meet friends are always better.

Yes they are!

The entrance to Woodyhyde Camping and Motorhome site just outside Corfe Castle in Dorset has a tight bridge under the Swanage railway. It's probably the same sort of width as that archway but it's around thirty feet long. When we went through with our Swift Bessacarr 599L we had to get lined up, pull the mirrors in and very carefully inch through it. As soon as we could we put the mirrors back out and I could see we had three inches clearance maximum either side. And to make it even more of a sweat theres a bend in the road one side of the bridge, so you have to keep straight well into the bend so the rear overhang doesn't swing out and hit the stonework of the bridge. I could see why they don't allow caravans.

I’ve stayed on that site a couple of times whilst visiting family. Feel water and waste disposal is a bit basic, but otherwise ok and easy cycle ride into MAlton to visit family and revisit my old haunts

Your very welcome 😊 Unfortunately Jenny’s autograph didn’t work out but the original with it on is safely stored for posterity, it might even get framed 🤣 Stay Safe 😜👍

It’s pronounced MOlton not MAlton (my home town, still have family there)

Yes, I had to ask Kevin how it was pronounced. Hopefully, I got it right on the next video! 😄
