Thanks for bringing us along. I vaguely remember you showing your son and his rowers before.

Glad you liked it. Yes we did one after the Tokyo Olympics. We could not go to that as Japan would not let spectators attend due to covid restrictions. We were excited to be able go to Paris.

We were lucky to be there this time and covid didn't rear it's ugly head.

When we had missed our connection from Australia to Norway, we ended up spending a day in London in the 2012 Olympics. We were happily surprised with all the cultural events going on near the arenas. So we enjoyed the Olympic vibe but never saw it 😀 and caught a flight home in the evening.

Been enjoying your vides for a few years now. I was interested in what camera mic combo you use on your travels?

Glad you are enjoying our videos. The main camera is a GoPro 10. We use this for most of the footage. Lynne has Lumix with a zoom lens for closeups of animals etc. For sound we use Rode Go II radio mic system. There is a receiver plugged into the GoPro (it sits on top) that receives the signal from the mics we are wearing under our shirts. If you have any more questions please ask. Happy to share what we do.

Most of the stuff in groceries stores have both English and French on it so we're prob more accustom to know French :)

Yes it's surprising how easily you can shop there. We also noticed the number of English words being used by French people when they talk to each other. They just slip them in amongst their French words.

Just realised you were probably talking about the French speaking part of Canada. Very interesting.
