I got a arrma vorteks 4x4 3s for my grandson Ryett and I fitted the centre differential and it's better. After some upgrades it's running 4s and it's a animal now 👍. Great video mate 👍 😅

Oh yeah I bet that flies as they are quick anyway. Did you need to mod the chassis to get the centre diff in?

Excellent run down, Pete. These trucks look like non-stop RC entertainment. That Mojave 4S looks so nice in the air, too!

Hiya Fil. Oh yeah these are beasts of RC's. Yes the scale appearance of the Mojave makes it look very cool in action. Cheers for watching mate. Best wishes 😁👍

Hiya Pete and well done on another informative guide. In fact it was very entertaining with all those action clips crammed in, too! If I had to choose between the 3 it would definitely be the Mojave for the realism and real-world looks. It seems to perform well too, those drifts on the beach look bloody gorgeous! Hope you are settling into Sunday evening with a suitable tipple! Cheers mate! 🍻😎👍

Hiya mate. Yeah to be honest it's sort of an excuse to recycle a load of Arrma 4s footage I had but also the 3s buyers guide I did was popular so worth doing this. Yes the Mojave is a smashing bit of kit. It was good on the beach but just collected a lot of wet sand underneath and it weighed about twice as much after. Yes a good weekend but back to the grind now. Hope you are doing well. Cheers for watching mate 😁👍

Ive never ventured to this dark side of the hobby.....i think i would be dangerous with one of these things!! 😅 That being said i would probably pick the mojave as i like the more realistic looks. Great seeing these things tearing up the New Forest,they do look like heaps of fun mate!😊 👍 👍

Hey sorry I missed this comment. Anyway yes it's true that you are unlikely to break someone's leg with a Tamiya Grasshopper 🤣 It is good to have some big beastly cars I think so you can get the big jumps and non careful driving out of your system and then more gentle runs with the Tamiya's. Cheers for watching mate and maybe one day you might be tempted with a big chunky RC basher 😁👍👍

Great vid bud I’m thinking of getting another arrma , taking a break from Traxxas lol
@PeteWylieRC24 күн бұрын
Hiya Adam. Ha yeah, bin the evil Traxxas 🤣 Are you regretting getting rid of the Mojave and Kraton now? I'm glad I bought them as good to have the whole range. The Mojave did need a few little mods but worth it. Hopefully get out in the new year if the weather behaves. Cheers for watching 😁👍👍

@@PeteWylieRC Yeah maybe another Mojave or the new Outcast when it comes out with a center diff. Yeah defo want to get out im getting the bug again lol.

Another fantastic on another Arrma comparison video Pete👍😎👍 Hey btw I was thinking of converting my Arrma Vorteks 3s BLX to a Senton short course truck any tips you could share about that process Pete also would I be able to convert my Slipper Clutch to a Center Diff???
@PeteWylieRC24 күн бұрын
Hi there and thanks for your kind comments. With the Senton conversion I'm wondering if there are so many different bits in terms of the longer chassis, bumpers front and back, body posts and the actual Senton body that you'd be better trying to find a second hand Senton? With the centre diff there is a difference with the chassis as it's a much bigger housing than the slipper. I know people have done it using a dremel to remove some plastic from the chassis. I have seen videos on KZbin to show what to do. Good luck 🙂
@3DMOFO202024 күн бұрын
@@PeteWylieRC Ok then Pete maybe in the future I'll just get a Senton 3s or a Mojave 4s like you have or a Mojve Grom BLX??? Thanks again for the info Pete maybe I'll just see if I can do the clipless body upgrade for Arrma Vorteks 3s BLX in the future?

Hey Pete, gotta question….I know the outcast/kraton parts are same/same(not all but close). Can the Mojave chassis fit the outcast/kraton a-arms? Can bulkheads swap too? Thanks. Gonna try and make a 4s talion…..
@PeteWylieRC9 күн бұрын
Hi there. Yeah I'm pretty sure that everything is interchangeable and it's just different lengths of chassis. Sounds like a cool plan. Many thanks for watching 😁👍

Have you driven a Traxxas Maxx V2? I'd like to know how it compares with the Outcast for steering. I have an Outcast and I'm selling it because I can't stand the understeer, currently looking at the Maxx to replace it.
@PeteWylieRC23 күн бұрын
@@RatBikerNotts ah I haven't I'm afraid so can't comment. I've driven an Xmaxx which was fine. Yes Arrma really need to release a better servo saver. Many thanks for watching 👍👍
@RatBikerNotts22 күн бұрын
@@PeteWylieRC No worries. I'll comment on here with my thoughts if I do get a Maxx. If it doesn't work out I might consider building a monster-slash.
@brethenry343422 күн бұрын
@@RatBikerNottsMaxx 100% turns better. Mine has all the steering upgrades but even stock the geometry is just better. It also feels like a longer truck, not by much but it's a little harder to rotate in the air. The maxx really does feel like driving a brick though 😂 if you get one you will see, love mine.

@@PeteWylieRC ya as long as you have a center diff. And not the slipper
@Logicislost8124 күн бұрын
I don't see why Arrma and other companies don't just put a better servo in their cars. That way, they can put stronger servo savers in. Just charge a little more. It would make customers very happy
@PeteWylieRC24 күн бұрын
Well the servo that comes with the 4s cars is pretty decent and could take a stronger saver. It seems that Arrma just took the saver from the 3s cars but the 4s cars are quite a bit heavier with bigger tyres so the saver isn't up to the job. Many thanks indeed for your great feedback. Much appreciated 😁👍
@CrystalPlantz24 күн бұрын
Mojave definitely doesn't jump like a kraton or outcast
@PeteWylieRC24 күн бұрын
Hi there. No the Kraton and Outcast are definitely better for jumps but I think that the Mojave drives better. Many thanks for your feedback 👍👍
@CrystalPlantz24 күн бұрын
@PeteWylieRC ya the kraton steering sucks. But it's better with the v2.5 and center diff. Over the slipper. It's crazy the difference one can notice after driving the slipper clutch version. Then driving the center diff. Version. It definitely turns better. But still needs a better servo saver
